<div><p>As a Macintosh Systems Administrator Trainee, you'll be part of a small team supporting about 30 Apple computers and servers and two PCs at two offices near UT. We use wiki-style IT documentation, training, and project management.</p>
<p>
Typical tasks are related to:</p>
<ul>
<li>network performance, monitoring, and maintenance</li>
<li>managing email user accounts and settings, and monitoring service performance</li>
<li>managing website content, updates, and settings, and monitoring website uptime and performance</li>
<li>onboarding and offboarding end-users</li>
<li>negotiating purchases and licensing and service contracts</li>
<li>database design and maintenance</li>
<li>maintain confidentiality and computer security</li>
<li>troubleshooting for 18 end users</li>
<li>other IT tasks as needed</li>
</ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Qualifications</b></h4>
<p>
It's helpful for this IT support position that you have experience with some of the following:</p>
<ul>
<li>macOS administration and device management</li>
<li>scripting languages (such as AppleScript, PHP, Python, Perl, JavaScript)</li>
<li>computer security.</li>
</ul>
<p>Please explain any experience or interest in these areas on your application.</p>
<p>
Any of these abilities will be a plus: database design (such as FileMaker Pro), web design or development of dynamic or ecommerce websites, SEO, project management, technical writing.</p>

Pay and hours</b></h4>
<p>
Pay is $28 to $33 an hour, depending on experience. 32 to 40 hours a week are preferred.</p>
