LCHC is seeking a Dynamic, Friendly, Front/Back Office Medical Assistant. We seek Excellence, Integrity &amp; Commitment to the provision of effective patient care.This position is for someone available to work 2-4 weekly shifts. Each shift is 5.5 hours or 6.75 hoursFull Availability required to be considered.Job Type: Full Time (Available any office hours, including weekends)Job Description:<ul><li>Welcoming and greeting all patients</li><li>Answering phones, filing, assisting with patient check-in, paperwork</li><li>Scheduling of patients</li><li>Use of EMR</li><li>Prepare Patients for Medical Providers</li><li>Measure and record vital signs, electrocardiograms, visual tests, glucose tests, hemoglobin tests among others</li><li>Assisting the Physician with exams and minor surgeries</li><li>Venipuncture and collection of laboratory samples and prepare them for the courier.</li><li>Maintain an environment conducive to the comfort and confidentiality of the patient environment.</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>Successfully completed and graduated from a Medical Assistant Program</li><li>Venipuncture Certification or equivalent</li><li>Bilingual in English/Spanish</li><li>Excellent Communication Skills</li><li>Demonstration of proper phone etiquette</li><li>Ability to Multi Task</li><li>Willingness and Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a variety of situations</li><li>Able to work both independently and as a Member of our Team.</li><li>Two years experience in a similar position.</li></ul>Pay: From $21.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Free parking</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Preferred)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>Spanish (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
