The Revenue Cycle Liaison maintains advanced knowledge of revenue cycle processes to aid in the implementation of processes and standards that assist LCMC in cash collection, in compliance with billing guidelines. Assists with coding, billing and collection processes as well as government and payer regulations for both professional and facility billing. Responsible for the analysis and assessment of diverse data relating to the revenue cycle. Works with LCMC and service lines departments to provide critical information of areas needing attention to improve revenue results. Acts as an internal consultant, provides essential quality reports, advice and improvement recommendations to the management along all service lines.
GENERAL DUTIES
Manages billing/charge work queues assigned to the organization. Reviews daily dashboards, works with leaders to resolve edits and move accounts.
Serves as point of contact for all revenue cycle reporting needs for the hospital and clinics. Manages prioritization of reporting requests to maximize the management&rsquo;s information needs.
Manages government and third-party payer audits.
Reviews denial root causes and works with appropriate leaders to prevent future denials.
Provides informational feedback regarding financial performance to the service lines and other departments.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Business, Healthcare or related field or enrollment in a Bachelor&rsquo;s program within the first year of hire and completion within 3 years.

Revenue Cycle Liaison - East Jefferson Hospital

The Supervisor, Pharmacy is responsible for coordinating pharmacy services and ensuring that the pharmacy provides optimal clinical services on a daily basis. Facilitates the development, implementation, and maintenance of systems that promote desirable patient outcomes through safe and cost-effective drug therapies. Assists leadership with the development and implementation of departmental goals and objectives in accordance with the hospital's philosophy and mission.
GENERAL DUTIES<ul><li>
Supervises and leads the provision of safe, timely, efficient, equitable, effective, and patient-centered pharmacy services.</li><li>
Serves as the liaison to coordinate compliance and regulatory issues for areas of responsibility.</li><li>
Identifies opportunities to redesign systems of oversight to maximize performance (i.e., labor and operational efficiency).</li><li>
Conducts competency assessments, observes and reviews pharmacist and technician compounding techniques, and coordinates/evaluates media fill.</li><li>
Coordinates and oversees all aspects of pharmacy services quality assurance program. Maintains all records and reports in compliance with regulations.</li><li>
Serves as a pharmacy team liaison to interdisciplinary team members for areas of responsibility (i.e., Nurse managers, medical directors, clinic leadership, informatics teams, etc.). Participates as a member of pharmacy department in multidisciplinary team and committees.</li><li>
Leads initiatives to identify gaps in training knowledge and areas for improvement.</li></ul>
