We are looking for AI Content Writers who can deliver content that is both authoritative and personable, striking a balance between informative and action-oriented.Job SummaryPlease note, we are only considering US-based applicants at this time.We're seeking a skilled AI-Assisted SEO Content Writer to produce high-quality, engaging, and optimized written content with the support of AI tools. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience using AI models for content generation and a strong grasp of writing fundamentals. You'll be responsible for creating and editing articles that align with Learn.org's brand tone and SEO strategies, as well as strengthening our site structure through strategic internal linking.We use AI to help us with the heavy lifting &mdash; researching, comparing sources, and crafting content based on top results and SEO best practices. After the prompting stage, you'll take the AI-assisted draft and turn it into a great piece of content that carefully incorporates human speech and fits with &rsquo;s content.The AI Content Writer will be expected to prompt, generate, refine, and edit articles from start to finish in a target range of 30 to 60 minutes per article, depending on the content type. You must excel at creating high-quality work under tight turnaround times.In addition to writing and updating content, you'll be responsible for internally linking articles to improve site navigation and SEO performance. This includes identifying relevant internal linking opportunities during the writing process, as well as completing internal linking projects on an as-needed basis to improve overall site structure.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Collaborate with Editor-in-Chief to generate written materials using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Google Gemini).</li><li>Generate and edit 10 to 15 articles per week. Opportunity for additional work.</li><li>Refine prompting to create high-quality drafts that adhere to brand style, voice, and tone.</li><li>Ensure accuracy by fact-checking every article crafted with AI tools.</li><li>Conduct light research and incorporate credible sources into AI-assisted drafts.</li><li>Edit AI-generated copy for tone, clarity, and grammar.</li><li>Prompt and edit AI content for SEO compliance: ensure natural use of one to three target keywords, a minimum of three to five relevant internal links, and one to three (on average) external links.</li><li>Identify and implement relevant internal links within new and existing articles to support user navigation and SEO performance.</li><li>Link child pages to parent pages (and vice versa) to strengthen overall site structure and topical authority.</li><li>Update older content on a rolling basis to update outdated information and improve internal linking.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum one year of professional writing experience.</li><li>Minimum of six months of experience working with AI content generation tools in a professional setting (either for a personal freelancing business or a hired AI writing/editing role)</li><li>Basic understanding of prompt engineering or AI model capabilities.</li><li>Demonstrated experience working with AI content generation tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Jasper).</li><li>Strong editing and proofreading skills.</li><li>Close attention to detail as it relates to grammar, flow, and accuracy.</li><li>Ability to adapt writing tone and style to our audience and platform.</li><li>Familiarity with SEO content best practices, including on-page optimization and internal linking strategy.</li><li>Comfortable working independently and meeting tight deadlines.</li><li>US-based.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience writing for higher education and/or career-based industries.</li><li>Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Webflow).</li><li>Experience writing in digital content marketing.</li></ul>Pay is per piece/per project. Hourly rate is approximate.
