The Sales Enablement Specialist Role
The Sales Enablement Specialist ensures that the sales organization is equipped with the right tools, training, resources, and systems to perform at their best. This role is responsible for building and maintaining an enablement program that streamlines onboarding, enhances ongoing development, and ensures every sales team member has what they need to be successful.
Working closely with Sales Operations, Product, Marketing, and Sales Leadership, this individual will develop strategies and processes that simplify how sales teams access information, utilize tools, and engage prospects. The ideal candidate is a systems-minded, highly organized professional who blends strong communication skills with a deep understanding of sales process, learning, and technology. 
What You'll Be Doing<ul><li>
Design, deliver, and continuously improve onboarding and ongoing training programs for all sales roles.</li><li>
Partner with Sales Leadership to identify skills gaps, training needs, and enablement priorities that drive sales effectiveness.</li><li>
Collaborate with Product and Marketing to ensure all sales teams have current messaging, collateral, and positioning resources.</li><li>
Work with Sales Operations to maintain system accuracy, optimize sales tools, and ensure high adoption across platforms.</li><li>
Develop and manage a centralized enablement database for templates, presentations, product materials, and training content that is easy to navigate and consistently updated.</li><li>
Facilitate live and virtual training sessions to support skill development, process adoption, and product knowledge.</li><li>
Leverage technology to automate and streamline enablement workflows, communication, and content delivery.</li><li>
Partner with Sales Operations to track enablement KPIs such as time-to-productivity, training completion rates, and content utilization.</li><li>
Simplify access to tools, systems, and information to reduce friction for new hires and existing staff.</li><li>
Create and maintain process documentation, role-based playbooks, and communication channels to support efficient execution.</li><li>
Serve as the primary liaison for enablement-related questions, feedback, and system improvements across the sales organization.</li></ul> 
Your Experience &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>
Bachelor's degree preferred (education, business, marketing, or related field). Equivalent experience considered.</li><li>
3&ndash;5 years of experience in sales enablement, sales training, or related operations role.</li><li>
Proven experience developing and facilitating sales training and onboarding programs.</li><li>
Strong understanding of sales processes, CRM systems, and enablement technology.</li><li>
Highly organized with exceptional project management and content management skills.</li><li>
Strong communication and presentation abilities with a focus on clarity and simplicity.</li><li>
Experience leveraging technology to automate workflows and improve efficiency.</li><li>
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and influence without authority.</li><li>
Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and enablement or learning management tools preferred.</li><li>
Passion for helping teams perform at their best through structure, clarity, and empowerment.</li></ul>
