Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities and equipment, contributing to a safe and productive environment.Duties<ul><li>Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities, ensuring compliance with safety standards.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical systems.</li><li>Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.</li><li>Utilize mechanical knowledge to maintain and repair machinery, including understanding schematics for effective troubleshooting.</li><li>Oversee residential painting projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to timelines.</li><li>Implement a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and inventory management.</li><li>Provide leadership and supervision to junior maintenance staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.</li><li>Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance concerns promptly and professionally.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and service requests.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is essential.</li><li>Strong electrical experience with the ability to work with ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools.</li><li>Familiarity with manufacturing environments is preferred, along with experience in supervising teams.</li><li>Excellent communication skills in English are required for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.</li><li>A solid understanding of mechanical systems, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques is necessary for success in this role.
