We are looking to welcome a few new team members at our newest Leela's Pizza and Wine Bar location in Uptown! Leela's has been serving a selection of wines on tap, seasonal cocktails and light bites in Dallas since 2018. We serve super thin and crispy Roman style pizzas and fresh, bright salads. We are looking for friendly and experienced bartenders and servers to help grow our team! Leela's is known for its upbeat vibes and neighborhood feel, so being personable is a must. Wine knowledge is a plus, however we can make sure you have all the training you need to feel comfortable serving our guests. We are open 11am-10pm Sunday-Thursday and 11am-11pm Friday and Saturday we serve lunch Monday-Friday, Happy Hour 4-6 PM Monday-Friday, and brunch on the weekends.Your Role: You will be responsible for engaging our guests and providing the highest level of hospitality through conversation, active listening, and the fulfillment of our guest's needs through our food and beverage program.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Welcome every guest as if they were a visitor in your own home</li><li>Ask questions to find out why the guest is visiting and if they have any special needs such as dietary restrictions or allergens</li><li>Pay attention to body language and nonverbal communication in order to anticipate guests needs</li><li>Use any information gained from conversation with the guest to make the experience more memorable- think outside the box!</li><li>Guide the guest through our food and beverage menus and answer any questions asked.</li><li>Accurately and actively take and place orders from bar guests for food and beverages. Use your knowledge of our menu and what you've learned about the guest to provide them the perfect options</li><li>Produce the needed beverages for the service well and the restaurant, treating every guest as your own</li><li>Maintain cleanliness, organization, and appearance of the bar.</li><li>Keep an accurate spill through the shift.</li><li>Complete assigned side duties before leaving work</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Must be at least 21 years old</li><li>Ability to multitask efficiently</li><li>Must have at least 2 years of bartending experience</li><li>Food Handler's license and TABC Certification required</li></ul>Hourly + Tips: $15.00 - $40.00 per hourJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $15.00 - $40.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Paid training</li></ul>Work Location: In person
