</b></h3><ul><li>Oversee and manage large-scale marine and heavy civil construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
</li><li>Lead project teams in the execution of complex marine logistics operations, including barge coordination, marine equipment utilization, and coastal construction sequencing.
</li><li>Manage all aspects of <b>cast-in-place mass concrete </b>operations, ensuring proper formwork, placement, curing, and quality control in accordance with project specifications.
</li><li>Direct the construction and installation of <b>cellular pile structures </b>, sheet pile bulkheads, and other marine foundation systems.
</li><li>Coordinate closely with <b>VDOT (Virginia Department of Transportation) </b>officials and inspectors to ensure full compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as project-specific requirements.
</li><li>Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
</li><li>Oversee subcontractor performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards.
</li><li>Prepare and review project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
</li><li>Foster collaboration between engineering, field, and management teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
</li><li>Mentor and develop junior project managers and field leaders to strengthen the organization&rsquo;s project delivery capabilities.
</li></ul><p></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Qualifications:
</b></h3><div><b>*Must have </b><b>experience in Civil construction or Marine Construction.*
</b></div><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
</li><li>5 <b>+ years of experience </b>managing heavy civil or marine construction projects, with proven success in <b>cast-in-place concrete, marine logistics, and pile structure work </b>.
</li><li>Demonstrated experience managing <b>VDOT or DOT-regulated </b>projects.
</li><li>Strong understanding of construction scheduling (Primavera P6 or MS Project), estimating, and cost control.
</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
</li><li>Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and safety.
</li><li>Proficiency with project management software and reporting tools.
</li><li>Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

</li><li>Strong understanding of project plans, specifications, and takeoff software.
</li><li>Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
</li><li>Proficiency in estimating software (such as Bluebeam, Sage Estimating, or similar).
</li><li>Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy, teamwork, and professionalism.
