Legence has identified the need for a Sr. Manager, Technology Solution Partner – Engineering Project Operations. The position could be based in the following geographies:

Overview: This is not an IT project/program management role. The Technology Solution Partner will collaborate with engineering business units on the prioritization and execution of capability development initiatives to realize business objectives. The area of functional expertise for this role is engineering project operations. Examples of functional expertise that will be beneficial in this role include project entry, work breakdown structure, project operations and billing.
 You will be working with our Enterprise systems, applications, and tools to define a technology plan for Engineering and Architecture businesses within Legence. You will bridge the gap between the internal customer’s business requirements and the systems, tools, and applications in our landscape. You will consult, collaborate, and advise our internal customers on how to best use existing and planned solutions in relation to their business requirements and/or operational improvement needs. This role demands advanced analytical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills. The role will communicate with a diverse set of stakeholders (employees and management) and partners in a manner that breaks down complex challenges into actionable steps that drive results. This individual leads as a team player who can build trust and establish strong working relationships.
 
Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Manage the vision of use and guide prioritization of features/functions of systems/tools against business needs, technology imperatives, and industry standards.</li>
<li>Document use cases, business requirements, and functional design for system improvements working with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and the engineering teams.</li>
<li>Specify and maintain requirements artifacts including Context Diagrams, Process and Workflow Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, Use Case Models, Product Comparisons, and Use Case Specifications.</li>
<li>Conduct research to decide whether solutions to business/technical requirements currently exist within or outside the business unit, and if not, whether new innovative solutions are possible.</li>
<li>Manage the training solution delivery model, which may include providing training to users on new functionality, giving refresher courses on existing functionality, and creating/updating training materials.</li>
<li>Oversee testing of new functionality as part of User Acceptance Testing including test plan/build collaboration and educating business users on high quality testing practice.</li>
<li>Provide critical thinking and facilitate the discussions needed to drive outcomes and results.</li>
<li>Meet project goals by serving as cross-work stream SME and escalation point.</li>
<li>Responsible for owning follow ups and closing gaps related to overall project approach, design issues, project execution tasks, and issues; take ownership of assigned gaps and work with the team to resolve and present findings.</li>
<li>Become part of a team of individuals who are committed to providing excellent customer service.</li>
<li>Rolling up your sleeves and digging in; seeking to understand customer business requirements and creatively translating them to system requirements.</li>

Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>BA/BS, preferably in a technology-related or business field.</li>
<li>A minimum of 10 years of in-depth knowledge of the processes and automation in application management and/or implementation.</li>
<li>Adhere to change control processes to ensure SOX compliance and work with auditors on requests in providing documentation and system demonstrations of control configurations</li>
<li>5+ years of experience with Deltek Vision and Vantagepoint products</li>
<li>Experience in ancillary applications like Procore, Big Time and Salesforce</li>
<li>Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of global stakeholders—both technical and business users</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal skills and a high degree of social intelligence</li>
<li>Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Experience with automation, AI and data driven learning</li>
<li>Experience with PowerBI and Data Warehouse report modeling</li>
<li>Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM methodology</li>
<li>Proven ability to</li>

Candidate should expect periodic (estimated at 15-20%) travel to various locations to meet with stakeholders.
 Compensation: $130k-$165k, depending on experience

Job Summary: 
We are seeking a detail oriented Compensation Specialist to support the administration and ongoing evaluation of our compensation programs. This role focuses primarily on market pricing and benchmarking, job architecture, and compensation structures, with additional responsibilities in compensation data analysis and reporting, as well as pay equity and compliance support. The Compensation Specialist partners with HR Centers of Excellence, Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders to deliver accurate analyses, insights, and recommendations that support fair, competitive, and compliant pay practices.
 
Key Responsibilities: 
Market Pricing & Benchmarking
 <ul>
<li>Conduct job evaluations and market pricing using third party compensation surveys and benchmarking tools.</li>
<li>Analyze external market data and internal pay positioning to recommend salary ranges, targets, and premiums.</li>
<li>Support pricing for new roles, re leveling, reorganizations, and other changes with clear documentation and data backed recommendations.</li>
<li>Maintain benchmark job matches and support annual survey participation (job matching, submissions, and data review).</li>
</ul>
Job Architecture & Compensation Structure
 <ul>
<li>Support and maintain job architecture (job families, career levels, and titling conventions) to enable consistent leveling and career progression.</li>
<li>Partner with HRBPs and leaders to review job leveling and ensure alignment to internal architecture and external market benchmarks.</li>
<li>Consult on job descriptions to improve clarity, consistency, and alignment to job families/levels and benchmarking matches.</li>
<li>Maintain and refine compensation structures (salary ranges and related guidelines) to support internal equity, market competitiveness, and scalable growth.</li>
</ul>
Compensation Data Analysis & Reporting
 <ul>
<li>Analyze internal compensation data (e.g., range penetration, compa ratio, compression, and progression) to identify trends and opportunities.</li>
<li>Build and maintain compensation models, recurring reports, and dashboards to support leadership and HR decision making.</li>
<li>Translate complex findings into clear insights and recommendations; ensure data accuracy and thoughtful documentation of assumptions.</li>
</ul>
Pay Equity & Compliance
 <ul>
<li>Support pay equity analyses and remediation planning, partnering with HR and Legal to align with applicable federal, state, and local requirements.</li>
<li>Assist with compensation audit requests, documentation, and data validation; help maintain process controls and data integrity.</li>
<li>Support pay transparency compliance (e.g., job posting ranges and related reporting) and maintain awareness of compensation related regulatory changes.</li>
</ul>
Stakeholder Partnership
 <ul>
<li>Coordinate and drive the day to day execution of annual compensation cycles (e.g., merit, bonus)—including planning support, system setup, administration, analysis, and validation—in partnership with HR and under the guidance of Compensation leadership.</li>
<li>Provide compensation guidance to HR and business leaders for hiring, promotions, and internal mobility decisions; escalate complex cases and policy exceptions as needed.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field</li>
<li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in compensation (market pricing, job architecture, and/or compensation analysis) or a closely related role</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience with:</li>
<li>Market pricing and compensation survey analysis using compensation tools</li>
<li>Job architecture framework and compensation structures</li>
<li>Compensation data analysis and reporting</li>
<li>Strong Excel proficiency (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, data presentation)</li>
<li>Ability to analyze data with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail</li>
<li>Ability to travel occasionally for business needs, meetings, and onsite collaboration (as required)</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>Experience supporting job leveling/job architecture frameworks and compensation structures.</li>
<li>Familiarity with pay equity methods and pay transparency requirements.</li>
<li>Experience with HRIS/compensation tools and basic dashboarding/reporting (e.g., CompAnalyst, MarketPay, Excel, Power BI, or similar).</li>
