Due to the nature of this work candidates must be a U.S. CitizenFlight Software EngineerDesign, develop, and test software used to control spacecraft flight systems in a fast-paced environment.Desired Skills<ul><li>Knowledge of spacecraft operations and/or astrodynamics</li><li>Linux server configuration/administration</li><li>Yocto embedded Linux experience</li><li>Linux device driver development</li><li>Rust programming</li><li>Experience with DoD/USG programs; ability to hold a clearance</li></ul>Required Skills<ul><li>Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and C</li><li>Linux shell scripting</li><li>Experience with either NASA cFS or ROS2</li><li>Ability to work independently</li><li>Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills</li></ul>Core Responsibilities<ul><li>Validate, test, and extend vendor/open-source software</li><li>Develop software for spacecraft automation, testing, and on-orbit ops</li><li>Support anomaly resolution during on-orbit operations</li></ul>Education<ul><li>BS in Computer Science or related field</li><li>5&ndash;8 years relevant experience</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $140,000.00 - $175,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
