Leland Technology is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with technical expertise, strong business analysis and customer engagement skills in support of an AWS and Azure cloud-based network ecosystem involving Microsoft services.
Hybrid role: majority onsite with opportunity for one optional remote day per week.
Responsibilities include:<ul><li>
Provide systems engineering, orchestration, and administrative support for multiple deployed applications and environments.</li><li>
Support solutions throughout the IT project lifecycle, to include refining requirements, creating design documentation, creating installation instructions and deployment plans, deploying and upgrading virtual machines, providing operations and maintenance, along with troubleshooting support.</li><li>
Coordinate closely with development teams and project management.</li><li>
Design and engineer software deployment services from a centralized software repository to virtual desktops in the cloud.</li><li>
Adhere to AGILE methodology and execute stories, as assigned by a Scrum Master</li><li>
Assist the Project Manager in advising level of complexity and effort of technical implementation details</li></ul>
Basic Qualifications:<ul><li>
10+ years of technology and engineering experience</li><li>
Strong PowerShell scripting experience is a must</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to engineer solutions in a STIG compliant domain infrastructure</li><li>
Understanding of automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform and DSC/Azure Machine Configuration</li><li>
Demonstrated experience in an AWS and Azure</li></ul>
Desired Skills:<ul><li>
Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture with practical experience engineering ZTA compliant solutions.</li><li>
Azure Machine Configuration</li><li>

Advanced Windows Administration or Engineering experience</li></ul>
Security Clearance:<ul><li>
Must have an active Top Secret with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI</li></ul>
