We are looking for an experienced and skilled Kitchen Hood &amp; Duct Cleaning Technician to join our Service department.QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>3-5 Experience in the same field.</li><li>Good Communication Skills with client and team. Able to speak basic Arabic.</li><li>Valid Kuwait Transferrable Visa and Kuwait Driving License.</li><li>Able to join immediately and can work on flexible timings.</li><li>Ability to work independently in the field.</li><li>Attention to safety (electrical and refrigerant handling)</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset</li><li>Technical Knowledge of grease extraction systems, exhaust fans, filters, fire suppression interface, and ductwork cleaning methods.</li><li>Ability to work at heights (ladders/scaffolding), confined spaces (ducts), and hot, greasy environments; lift up to 25 kg.</li><li>Certification required NFPA 96 awareness or certification preferred; OSHA or equivalent safety training preferred.</li><li>Able to operate pressure washers, steam cleaners, rotary brush systems, vacuum units, and chemical degreasers safely</li><li>Professional demeanor when communicating with restaurant/clients.</li><li>Can solve any type of on-site cleaning or access challenge (tight spaces, complex duct routing, and heavy buildup).</li><li>Strong understanding of grease fire hazards and prevention methods.</li></ul>KEY RESPONSIBILITES:<ul><li>Perform full cleaning of commercial kitchen exhaust hoods, ductwork, exhaust fans, and filters in accordance with NFPA 96 standards.</li><li>Remove grease buildup from all accessible duct surfaces using mechanical and chemical methods.</li><li>Set up and operate cleaning equipment (pressure washers, steam cleaners, rotary brushes, and vacuum systems).</li><li>Take before/after photos and maintain detailed service reports for client and compliance records.</li><li>Inspect hood systems for damage, corrosion, or fire safety concerns (e.g., blown fusible links, damaged grease cups).</li><li>Coordinate with kitchen staff to schedule cleaning during off-hours (nights/weekends) to avoid disruption.</li><li>Follow strict safety protocols for chemical handling, hot work, and working at heights.</li><li>Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure proper chemical dilution and disposal per local regulations.</li></ul>Work Location: In person
