GCI Contracting (under LEOS Developments) is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Planning Engineer &ndash; Building and Villas to support ongoing villa and mid-rise residential building projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have strong project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring experience within reputable contracting companies in the UAE.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop, review, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project.</li><li>Prepare baseline programs in coordination with project managers and site teams.</li><li>Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with approved timelines and milestones.</li><li>Identify delays, analyze impacts, and recommend corrective and recovery measures.</li><li>Prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress reports to management and clients.</li><li>Conduct delay analysis and assist in preparation of EOT (Extension of Time) claims when required.</li><li>Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and subcontractors to ensure schedule compliance.</li><li>Track manpower, material delivery schedules, and construction sequencing.</li><li>Participate in client meetings and progress review discussions.</li><li>Maintain accurate planning records and documentation in compliance with contractual requirements.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies Required<ul><li>Strong understanding of building construction sequencing and methodologies.</li><li>Proficiency in Primavera P6 (Mandatory) and MS Project.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent coordination and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to interpret drawings, BOQs, and project specifications accurately.</li><li>Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel reporting).</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.</li><li>Knowledge of delay analysis techniques is an advantage.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory).</li><li>Minimum 5&ndash;9 years of UAE experience in building construction projects.</li><li>Experience in villa, mid-rise, or residential building projects preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards and contractual planning requirements.</li></ul>How to ApplyInterested applicants may apply using the link below:Application Form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfWUh4QdR1ksLNOwYFBGd1Vzu46l0rs0K072XoLKL-hMV3GKw/viewform?usp=dialogEmail: careers@gcicontracting.comJob Type: Full-timePay: From AED14,000.00 per month
