<div><div><b>SUMMARY:</b> Individuals in this position provide administrative and operational support to the HR Department, with a primary focus on recruiting.<br>

<b>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></div>
<ul><li>Assist with full-cycle recruiting, including career fairs, posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.</li>
<li>Partner with department managers and supervisors to support staffing needs and ensure timely hiring processes.</li>
<li>Serve as a point of contact for general HR inquiries.</li>
<li>Coordinate and facilitate new hire paperwork, orientation, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.</li>
<li>Support HR initiatives including open enrollment, training coordination, and employee events.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and HR records.</li>
<li>Ensure all work is free of spelling, grammatical, and content errors, maintaining consistency of content and branding.</li>
<li>Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, following through on projects to successful completion, often under deadline pressure and with input from multiple participants.</li>
<li>Assist safety team maintaining employee safety records, training documentation, procedures, company safety requirements, etc.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>

<div></div><div><b>QUALIFICATIONS:</b></div>
<ul><li>Strong work ethic with excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Experience supporting or coordinating workplace safety initiatives, maintaining safety training records, or assisting with compliance requirements preferred.</li>
<li>Maintains a high level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential or proprietary information.</li>
<li>Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.</li>
<li>Collaborative team player with a positive, solutions-oriented mindset.</li>
<li>Demonstrates initiative, reliability, and dependability.</li>
</ul><div><b>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:</b></div>
<ul><li>Associate&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, with experience in HR activities (preferably in a manufacturing environment); or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>
<li>2&ndash;4 years of experience in human resources or recruiting.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of HR processes, employment laws, and best practices.</li>
</ul><div><b>LANGUAGE SKILLS:</b></div>
<ul><li>Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.</li>
<li>Ability to write clear and professional reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.</li>
<li>Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.</li>
</ul><div><b>MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:</b></div>
<ul><li>Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.</li>
<li>Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.</li>
</ul><div><b>COMPUTER SKILLS:</b></div>
<ul><li>Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.</li>
<li>Intermediate knowledge of database software related to Benefits and Human Resource Information.</li>
</ul><div><b>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</b><br>
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit. Employee spends some time on shop floor. Most of the time will be spent sitting in front of a computer and using the phone. May occasionally lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds.<br>

<b>WORK ENVIRONMENT:</b><br>
Most of the time, the work environment is a pleasant, temperature controlled, professional office environment in a manufacturing setting. The employee works in the office but does have frequent interaction with personnel on the shop floor. The noise level in the work environment is mixed but does not require hearing protection in most areas.<br>
