Job Summary and Qualifications</h5>
Assists the Controller in organizing, directing, and staffing the Accounting Department in a manner commensurate with the scope of service offered.
Supervises the day-to-day activities of assigned Accounting staff including ensuring their duties are performed accurately and timely.
Fosters an environment that encourages open communication within the department and between hospital management and fiscal.
In cooperation with the Controller, coordinates completion of the year-end tax work-paper package. Assists in preparation and review of any items associated with Medicare year-end items.
Assists in ensuring the completion of Sarbanes Oxley/Internal Controls Hospital Level Key Control requirements. Also ensures Hospital is compliant with all areas of HCA Sarbanes Oxley 404 requirements.
Reviews balance sheet and income statements for accuracy and recommends mitigating/corrective action to Controller
Leads fulfillment of assigned budget preparation requirements, performs initial review for accuracy.
Ensures timely submission of monthly, quarterly and semiannual report requirements by Division as directed by Controller.
Participates in completion of assigned survey, review, audit response, hospital-related project/ research.
Day-to-day leadership in the performance and creation of ad hoc data mining reports using Business Objects as necessary for daily, monthly, and yearly assignments.
Other duties as assigned by ACFO/Controller.
EXPERIENCE
Required &ndash; 3 years healthcare accounting
Preferred &ndash; 5 years healthcare accounting
EDUCATION
Required &ndash; BS or BA Degree in Accounting
Preferred &ndash; MBA and/or CPA

As a Patient Care Technician you will be a crucial member of our collaborative nursing care team, delivering hands-on care and helping create a safe, welcoming environment for patients. Your support brings comfort, dignity, and connection to those who need it most &ndash; and helps make our mission to improve lives a reality for patients every day.
Your responsibilities will include:
<ul><li>Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth procedures and recovery</li><li>
Providing non-medicated care like dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices</li><li>
Keeping patient areas, operating rooms, and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency</li><li>
Managing supplies, equipment, and environmental logs to keep the team ready and protect patients through infection control</li><li>
Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team while promoting safety and quality efforts</li></ul><h6 class="jobSectionHeader">
What qualifications you will need:</h6> 
<ul><li>
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date</li><li>
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date</li></ul>
