Are you an experienced refinery operations leader ready to take ownership of performance, reliability, and operational excellence in a major downstream environment?
We are supporting a leading industrial services organization operating inside a world-class integrated refinery complex in Saudi Arabia. We are seeking a technically solid and operationally disciplined Operation Superintendent to oversee refinery operations support and ensure alignment with safety, reliability, and profitability priorities.
This is a strategic, high-responsibility role within a performance-driven and safety-critical environment.
Role Overview
The Operation Superintendent will:<ul><li>Ensure efficient and cost-effective refinery operations</li><li>Supervise daily operational activities in line with client standards</li><li>Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and operational procedures</li><li>Drive operational performance, reliability, and process optimization</li><li>Support startup, shutdown, and ongoing operational execution</li><li>Lead and develop operation staff</li><li>Interface with client stakeholders to ensure operational alignment</li></ul>
This role requires strong operational discipline and hands-on refinery experience.
Mandatory Requirements
To be considered, candidates must meet the following criteria:<ul><li>Minimum 12+ years of total experience, with at least 10 years in refinery operations</li><li>Minimum 5 years of direct experience in refinery operations, including sulfur handling systems</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering</li><li>Minimum 7 years in managerial/supervisory positions</li><li>Strong understanding of petroleum operations and refinery process units</li><li>Fluent in Arabic and English (oral and written)</li><li>Strong leadership and team supervision experience</li></ul>
Professional certifications (PMP, Six Sigma, Lean, etc.) are considered a plus.

This is not an EPC project role. Direct refinery operations experience is mandatory.
