Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ.</div><div></div><div><br>
The client for this project is the NYS Office of General Services (OGS).</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with building standards and project specifications</li><li>
Inspect all material upon arrival to the jobsite to ensure compliance</li><li>
Document inspections and report any issues</li><li>
Coordinate scheduling of subcontractors, consultants, inspectors, and vendors to complete each project on time</li><li>
Monitor work and materials to ensure quality control standards are met at various stages of the project</li><li>
Communicate with the project team and support each subcontractor to execute his job duties effectively and efficiently</li><li>
Perform inspections or schedule inspectors to meet the varying safety and compliance regulations of each job location</li><li>
Maintain a written daily log of visitors, job actions performed, materials expended, and problems resolved on the job site</li><li>
Travel between multiple job sites and simultaneously manage work loads of individual projects</li><li>
Identify and resolve problems and conflicts, organizing meetings and cooperating with team members in various roles as necessary</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>OSHA 30
</li><li>Willingness to work inside minimum and maximum security prisons</li><li>
Minimum three (3) years of trade experience or comparable training in inspection of large-scale building project valued above $1 million
</li><li>Willingness to respond to calls off normal hours and occasionally work extra hours to meet project needs
</li><li>Must be able to work autonomously, follow procedures, and interpret contract documents</li><li>
Ability to understand and interpret contract documents including specifications and drawings</li><li>
Experienced in new building construction, major renovations, civil work and the installation and commissioning of Electrical
</li><li>Strong communications written and oral skills and a collaborative approach working with both client and construction contractor/subcontractors</li><li>
Ability to maintain field and office records and perform quantity computations</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>

Compensation: Minimum: Min: $35.00 hr. - Max: $40.00 hr.</li><li>
The range provided is the salary that the Firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position.</li></ul><div><b>
Exact compensation will be determined on the individual candidates&rsquo; qualifications and location.</b></div><ul><li>
