<div>Job Title: Custodian 
Reports to: Executive Director of Technology and Media 
Terms of Employment: 255-Day Calendar/Salary is commensurate with verifiable years of experience. 
QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent.
</li><li>Work experience as a custodian, familiarity with chemical safety, floor cleaning/care procedures and the use of appropriate machinery.
</li>Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.

</li></ul>RESPONSIBILITIES:
<div><ul><li>Prompt and regular attendance.
</li></ul><ul><li>Follow and meet the standards set for building cleanliness, basic maintenance and safety procedures.
</li></ul><ul><li>Utilize appropriate chemicals, supplies, and equipment, which have been approved for use according to Policies and Procedures to perform assigned tasks.
</li></ul><ul><li>Areas of cleaning include: floors, tile and carpet, windows, walls, classrooms, common areas, gym, lunchroom, offices, outside grounds areas, and others as assigned.
</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain custodial tools and equipment in a clean, sanitary, and safe working condition according to instructions and guidelines,
</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain appropriate, positive and cooperative working relationships with team members, assigned facility staff, and other employees in all work related interactions.
</li></ul><ul><li>Perform various duties as assigned by the Principal.

 Able to perform routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities including:
 
 Medium Work: Exerting 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds as needed to move objects. 
Evaluation : Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the director in accordance with the provisions of the Board&rsquo;s policy on classified evaluation.</div>
