Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:<ul><li>
Conduct loan interviews, discuss programs, explain processes, and request supporting documentation for loan approval.</li><li>
Evaluate credit of prospective borrowers for qualification purposes.</li><li>
Diligently pursue leads provided.</li><li>
Contact prospective borrower leads via telephone, email, or face to face.</li><li>
Evaluate credit and financial status of prospective borrower to determine appropriate residential mortgage loan proposal.</li><li>
Understand and apply all Federal and NCUA regulatory rules and regulations associated with mortgage lending.</li><li>
Makes sales calls routinely through face to face and phone contact with borrowers, ensuring clear understanding of options and informed decisions to best suit borrower's needs.</li><li>
Maintain knowledge of available loan products, processing procedures and underwriting guidelines.</li><li>
Prospect and network, building relationships with realtors, builders and other referral partners.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Bachelor's degree preferred.</li><li>
2-3 years of mortgage origination experience is preferred.</li><li>
Excellent communication skills to talk to clients about loan particulars and their personal financial details.</li><li>
Excellent mathematical and statistical analysis ability.</li><li>
A sound knowledge of the terms and conditions of different kinds of loans.</li><li>
Strong logical thinking.</li><li>
Ability to keep updated on new loan reforms and laws.</li><li>
Ability to obtain federal registration/NMLS.</li></ul>

Networking opportunities within the organization are available as this support teller position will be scheduled to &ldquo;float&rdquo; primarily to our Owensboro, KY area branch locations and, possibly, assist in our Henderson, KY branch as needed. Candidates must possess excellent member service skills, professionalism, and confidentiality. Previous financial institution experience is preferred. Candidates must be available to work up to 40 hours per week including Saturdays on a rotating basis. If applicable, an initial two-three week paid training program will be held in Evansville, IN. Prepare all daily work items for transfer to the appropriate departments.

<ul><li>Must have a HS diploma or GED and be at least 18 years of age.</li><li>
Must be able to work a flexible schedule and travel to other office locations when needed.</li><li>
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and do some heavy lifting.</li><li>
Must have 1-2 years of cash handling experience.</li><li>
