<div>Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is seeking a Full-Time Member Service Representative/Teller for the Jasper Office, located at 4316 N. Newton Street, Jasper, IN 47546. Candidates must possess excellent member service skills, professionalism and confidentiality. Previous financial institution experience is preferred. The Jasper Office hours of operation are Monday through Thursday 8:30 a.m. &ndash; 5:00 p.m., Friday 8:30 a.m. &ndash; 6 p.m., and Saturday 8:30 a.m. &ndash; 1:00 p.m. Candidates must be available to work Saturdays on a rotating basis. Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:<ul><li>
Serve as a primary Member Service Representative (MSR).<ul><li>
Meet member needs by maintaining knowledge of all company products and services.</li><li>
Run various member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, credit card payments, transfers, and shared branching transactions with a high degree of accuracy.</li><li>
Determine acceptability of negotiable items and place holds on deposited funds when applicable.</li><li>
Learn to identify potential fraud situations and take appropriate action to help protect the member and the Credit Union.</li><li>
Learn to recognize member&rsquo;s needs and recommend appropriate products and services while providing quality member service.</li><li>
Strive to balance cash drawer each day.</li><li>
Strive to meet MSR cross sell goals and work to support all branch goals and initiatives.</li><li>
Assist with processing night drop.</li><li>
Assist in balancing branch cash machines.</li><li>
Answer member telephone inquiries.</li><li>
Assist with vault duties as needed.</li></ul></li><li>
Represent the Credit Union to the members in a friendly, positive, and professional manner greeting members as they enter the branch.</li><li>
Demonstrate appropriate knowledge of company policies and procedures related to the MSR duties, including security and information technology security.</li><li>
Complete all required compliance training.</li><li>
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and security when dealing with member information and agree to shred all papers with confidential information.</li><li>
Prepare all daily work items for transfer to the appropriate departments.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Must have a HS diploma or GED and be at least 18 years of age.</li><li>
Must be able to work a flexible schedule and travel to other office locations when needed.</li><li>
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and do some heavy lifting.</li><li>
Must have 1-2 years of cash handling experience.</li><li>
Banking experience preferred.</li></ul>
