Liberty POST is currently seeking a motivated and energetic Early Childhood Physical Therapists (PT) for part-time and/or full-time employment to work with children who are birth-5 years old through Early Intervention and Preschool Special Education programs. Immediate positions are available throughout Western New York.

Backed by Liberty Resources Inc. and part of a large social services circle, originally POST was a speech-language practice in Syracuse NY and has grown to provide a range of services throughout all of New York State and New Jersey. We employ over 500 professionals in a variety of settings and offer a collaborative team approach to provide evaluation, direct therapy, and family education through child-directed play. We are focused on the importance of a child’s natural learning environment, a family’s unique strengths and needs and the diverse population we serve.
 
Job Duties and Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Evaluate, monitor and track child’s progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.</li>
<li>Test and evaluate child’s abilities to determine realistic goals.</li>
<li>Record information on the initial evaluation, treatment, and progress in a timely manner using Electronic Medical Record system.</li>
<li>Proficient at writing detailed analysis and reports.</li>
<li>Effectively organize and maintain confidentially of child’s records and other documentations.</li>
<li>Follow all state laws and regulations as it pertains to Early Intervention, CPSE/CSE special education.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience: 
<ul>
<li>Current New York State Licensure and/or Certification in Physical Therapy</li>
<li>Knowledge of MS Word and comfortable with working with computer systems</li>
<li>Valid Driver’s License</li>
<li>Early Childhood Experience</li>
<li>Great interpersonal and communication skills</li>
</ul>

<li>EI Family Training/Family Support 30 minutes: $42</li>
<li>EI 60 minutes: $58</li>
<li>EI Family Training/Family Support 60 minutes: $57</li>
<li>Evaluation: $110</li>
</ul>
Pay Rate: CPSE
 <ul>
<li>CPSE SEIS 60 minutes: $44</li>
<li>CPSE 30 minutes: $37</li>
<li>CPSE 60 minutes: $72</li>
<li>Evaluation: $110</li>
</ul>
