Key Responsibilities:Procurement Operations:<ul><li>Receive and review requisitions from vessels or Technical Superintendents.</li><li>Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for best price, quality, and delivery terms.</li><li>Issue purchase orders (POs) in line with company policies and procedures.</li><li>Monitor PO status to ensure on-time delivery to vessels or designated ports.</li></ul>Vendor Management:<ul><li>Develop and maintain relationships with approved marine suppliers and service providers.</li><li>Conduct periodic evaluations of supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery).</li><li>Identify and qualify new suppliers based on technical and commercial criteria.</li></ul>Logistics &amp; Coordination:<ul><li>Coordinate shipment and delivery logistics including consolidation, freight, and customs clearance.</li></ul>Documentation &amp; Compliance:<ul><li>Ensure all procurement records, POs, invoices, and delivery notes are accurately maintained.</li><li>Verify supplier invoices for accuracy and coordinate with finance for timely payments.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, maritime regulations, and vessel flag requirements.</li><li>Liaise with freight forwarders, port agents, and vessels to ensure smooth delivery and receipt of goods.</li><li>Ensure critical spares and emergency supplies are expedited when required.</li></ul>Inventory &amp; Cost Control:<ul><li>Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock control and optimization.</li><li>Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.</li><li>Support budget planning and tracking of procurement expenses.</li></ul>Qualification:<ul><li>Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.</li><li>3&ndash;5 years of procurement experience, preferably in the maritime or ship management industry.</li><li>Understanding of vessel systems, marine spares, and consumables.</li><li>Familiarity with Incoterms, customs processes, and shipping documentation.</li><li>Knowledge of marine classification society and flag state requirements is an advantage.</li><li>Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and coordination abilities.</li><li>Proficient in MS Office and procurement software</li><li>Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From &#8377;30,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
