Position Summary

Under assessment and supervision of the Registered Nurse and according to established policies and procedures, performs patient care activities in order to assist health care providers in performing various clinical and technical procedures in the patient care area.

Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Complete assigned patient care tasks</li>
</ul><ul><li>Accurately collect, perform and document urine pregnancy tests and quality controls associated with it.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Performing one-to-one monitoring on all restrained, suicidal, combative and other high-risk patients when requested by RN or physician.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Obtain vital signs and weights</li>
</ul><ul><li>Collect, label, and accurately enter specimens obtained.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Lifts, transfers, transport patients</li>
</ul><ul><li>Enters work orders in computer</li>
</ul><ul><li>Stocks supplies at bedside and puts supplies away prior to leaving shift</li>
</ul><ul><li>Documentation in the electronic medical record</li>
</ul>
Requirements
<ul>
<li>Minimum requirement, high school diploma or GED.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Read, write, and follow verbal or written instructions</li>
</ul><ul><li>Electronic medical record competency</li>
</ul><ul><li>Maintain CPR certification.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Work independently and professionally and treats customers and employees with respect</li>
</ul><ul><li>Obtain/maintain 12 lead ECG testing proficiency</li>
</ul><ul><li>Obtain/maintain phlebotomy skill.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Obtain/maintain Ortho-Glass skills</li>
<li>LMH is accredited by DNV and TJC, and as such, may require specific annual education related to specialty certifications and standards.</li>
</ul>
***Please note, nursing students who are hired into a patient support role and successfully complete their introductory period may apply for a promotion to Patient Care Assistant-Student Nurse. This role will provide a $2/hr differential as well as an increase in tuition assistance. To learn more about this program, please contact Human Resources.

</ul><ul><li>Performing one-to-one monitoring on all restrained, suicidal, combative and other high-risk patients when requested by RN or physician.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Obtain vital signs and weights</li>
</ul><ul><li>Appropriate documentation in electronic medical record</li>
</ul><ul><li>Enters work orders in computer</li>
</ul><ul><li>Stocks supplies at bedside</li></ul> 


Requirements

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Licking Memorial Health Systems (LMHS) Controller, the Accounts Payable Specialist analyzes, processes and verifies financial information to accurately prepare checks. Maintains files and documentation relating to check preparation.
Responsibilities:

<li>Analyzes, processes and verifies financial information to accurately prepare checks. Maintains files and documentation relating to check preparation.</li>
<li>Responsible for registers, journals, logs and associated government and non-governmental reports.</li>
<li>Balance monthly reports to the general ledger.</li>
<li>Maintain the software systems including testing and implementation of updates.</li>
<li>Assist in recruiting new vendors in the credit card rebate program</li>
<li>Balance, prepare and issue 1099s</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or equivalent required</li>
<li>Associate&rsquo;s Degree in Accounting is preferred</li>
<li>Effective communication with all levels of staff, vendors, and guests</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize, organize work, and maintain flexibility</li>
<li>Work requires the ability to set priorities, organize work and be flexible enough to make exceptions.</li>
<li>LMH is accredited by DNV and TJC, and as such, may require specific annual education related to specialty certifications and standards.<div>
