The Senior Manager &ndash; Talent Development &amp; Learning is responsible for the leadership of the Talent Development &amp; Learning team and talent development processes, programs, and initiatives. This role provides strategic support to leadership and their respective organizations on all matters involving the development of Lidl US employees. The individual ensures the talent development and learning strategy attracts, engages, develops, and retains employees while aligning them with the organization&rsquo;s culture, strategies, and vision.

</b></h2></div><div><p><b>Essential Functions
</b></p><ul><li>Drive execution of the talent development &amp; learning strategy, integrating best practices/trends and performing analysis on effectiveness and competitiveness of existing processes and programs
</li><li>Effectively execute on talent strategy, including performance management; individual, team, and leadership development and succession planning to address current and future business needs
</li><li>Design effective engagement strategies with a focus on retention of high performers, high potentials, and key contributors
</li><li>Collaborate with business partners to design and implement effective analytics and metrics to influence program direction while monitoring business impact and effectiveness
</li><li>Mentor and provide career development to colleagues to strengthen their capabilities, build functional expertise, and foster a collaborative, values-driven team culture of high standards, strong productivity, and innovation
</li><li>Serve as the internal Subject Matter Expert regarding talent development &amp; learning best practices as well as current trends and innovative tools and methods
</li><li>Utilize HR systems and technologies to effectively manage and analyze talent profiles and trends
</li><li>Responsible for the cost planning and management of resources and staff
</li><li>Responsible for implementation of national and international development concepts

</b></h2></div><div><p><b>Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
</b></p><ul><li>Knowledge of Human Resources Management, specifically Talent Management systems and principles of effective training, succession planning, and performance management
</li><li>Ability to translate business strategies into critical talent and workforce strategies/initiatives
</li><li>Superior project management, organizational, and analytical skills
</li><li>Excellent management and leadership skills
</li><li>Strong communication and facilitation skills
</li>Proficient in Google Workspace Tools, Microsoft Office Suite, or related software<br>

</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources or related field
</li><li>4 - 6 years of experience in related field

<ul><li>Oversees and manages assigned project and/or departments data, ensuring it meets predetermined contractual or policy requirements
</li><li>Conduct data entry and data management for various department projects
</li><li>Assist with the development of training materials such as manuals, handbooks, presentations, diagrams, workflows, and project plans
</li><li>Perform real estate market analysis including evaluation of competitors&rsquo; locations, acquisitions strategy, sales volumes, and other relevant information
</li><li>Create analytic maps in coordination with real estate depicting key demographic, competitive, traffic, and decision-making metrics
</li><li>Assist in the management of the due diligence and permitting process to ensure that all development risks are identified and quantified
