Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or modification to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer&rsquo;s specifications.</li><li>
Repair and replace damaged or worn parts.</li><li>
Inspect tower cranes in order to diagnose defects.</li><li>
Assemble and dismantle tower cranes.</li><li>
Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on tower cranes.</li><li>
Examine parts for damage or excessive wear using according gauges.</li><li>
Read, understand and interpret operating manuals, parts manuals, and technical/electrical drawings.</li><li>
Inspect and test defective parts to diagnose malfunctions.</li><li>
Inspect and verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure factory specifications.</li><li>
Oversee the maintenance of quality standards through visual and mechanical inspection methods.</li><li>
Promote a safe work environment by ensuring the group and self-follow established safety procedures.</li><li>
Oversee the handling and disposing of hazardous wastes, such as oil, antifreeze, transmission fluid, auto parts cleaner, and similar material.</li><li>
Prepare for jobs by checking parts and drawings for accuracy and completeness.</li><li>
Complete jobs independently with little assistance from others.</li><li>
Properly fill out working reports, hour&rsquo;s reports, timesheets, hour&rsquo;s overviews and expense reports.</li><li>
Complete assigned paperwork as instructed, including but not limited to inspection reports, service orders, service method of statements, check lists, etc.</li><li>
Assist customers with troubleshooting and part-related questions when needed.</li><li>
Attend training sessions as required.</li><li>
Maintains a minimum set of tools required for job performance.</li><li>
Maintain company cars, tools, machines and equipment.</li><li>
Maintain a positive attitude and role model for the other employees to follow.</li><li>
Maintain company service literature and maintains a high awareness of technical changes.</li></ul></div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Competencies</b></h2><div><ul><li>
Education: High school graduation or preferably a degree in engineering in a relevant field.
</li><li>At least 2-3 years direct experience with tower cranes as a service engineer, Liebherr Tower Cranes experience is preferred.</li><li>
Must be able to understand, speak and write the English language.</li><li>
Ability to interface with all levels of staff.</li><li>
Demonstrate ability to handle confidential information.</li><li>
Assist the company in any necessary duties to achieve company goals.</li><li>
Perform other related duties as assigned.</li><li>
Proficiency in computer based word processing and spreadsheets.</li><li>
Ability to multi-task while completing work in a competent and professional manner.</li><li>
Demonstrate initiative to visualize, organize, manage, and complete projects in individual and group settings.</li><li>
Travel domestically and internationally up to 80% of the time.</li><li>
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver license and passport.</li><li>
Ability to work overtime as well as on weekends or on call duty.</li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
