Position Summary:
 
 
As Security Control Assessor (Authorizing Official/AO) you will provide cybersecurity support to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in Springfield, VA. You will award authorization to operate (ATO) for systems and/or networks based on the determination of acceptable risk. 
 
Clearance Requirement:
<ul><li>Must have an active DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance
</li></ul>Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Manage and approve accreditation packages (e.g., ISO/IEC 15026- 2).
</li><li>Establish acceptable limits for the software application, network, or system.
</li><li>Review authorization and assurance documents to confirm that the level of risk is within acceptable limits for each software application, system, and network.</li>

</ul>Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in technical discipline from an accredited college or university</li>
</ul>Certification Requirements:
<ul><li>lAM Level II certification (CAP, CASP+, CISM, CISSP or equivalent)</li>
</ul><ul><li>Three (3) year of full-time professional experience in establishing, implementing, and tracking project plans (more experience required for sr. level openings).</li>
<li>Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies.
</li><li>Knowledge of risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk)</li>
<li>Knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and ethics as they relate to cybersecurity and privacy.
</li><li>Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy principles and tools.
</li><li>Knowledge of Security the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Assessment and Authorization process.
</li><li>Knowledge of information technology (IT) security principles and methods (e.g., firewalls, demilitarized zones, encryption).
</li><li>Skill in discerning the protection needs (i.e., security controls) of information systems and networks.
</li><li>Skill to apply cybersecurity and privacy principles to organizational requirements (relevant to confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, non-repudiation).
</li><li>Ability to coordinate cyber operations with other organization functions or support activities.
</li></ul>Physical Demands and Expectations:

Position Summary:
 
As emaint CMMS System Architect, you will be responsible for defining and teaching the architectural vision for emaint (CMMS) to enable and support current and future business needs. You will ensure that the system architecture meets organizational needs, integrates seamlessly with other systems, is scalable, reliable, and secure. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, define and teach system elements and capabilities, and provide technical guidance to development teams. You will optimize system performance and ensure the successful integration of emaint with other systems as needed. You will consider solutions to problems, validate technology assumptions, evaluate alternatives, envision and select best paths forward, converge on solutions, and oversee and execute system project initiatives and solutions. Working closely with other system architects, you will deliver solutions that are aligned with broader company architectural goals and guardrails. 
 
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Help define and teach the architectural vision for emaint</li>
<li>Ensure CMMS architecture meets organizational needs</li>
<li>Collaborate with emaint users to understand appropriate requirements</li>
<li>Optimize system performance and integrate with other systems as needed</li>
<li>Evaluate technology and recommend solutions for strategic system functionality and integration</li>
<li>Function as the gatekeeper for all emaint workflows, configurations, statuses, and coding</li>
<li>Perform Maintenance &amp; Reliability Department work order post-approvals</li>
<li>Oversee, identify the pertinence of, and execute NCRs, CAPAs, and Change Controls associated with eMaint on behalf of the Maintenance and Reliability Department</li>
<li>Create, revise, and manage emaint-related SOPs, and Standard Work Instructions</li>
<li>Be the primary stakeholder in charge of report and dashboard creation, configuration, and dissemination for data captured in eMaint</li>
</ul>Design and Architecture:
<ul><li>Lead the design, strategic development, and continuous improvement of all eMaint architecture.</li>
<li>Define and teach system components and interfaces to meet business requirements.</li>
<li>Develop scalable and reusable integration frameworks for all eMaint applications.</li>
</ul>Integration:
<ul><li>Design, document, and manage configuration spec. integration workflows for seamless data exchange.</li>
<li>Collaborate with technical teams to implement integrations with ERP and other third-party systems, as necessary.</li>
<li>Evaluate, recommend, and implement integration tools and platforms.</li>
</ul>Collaboration:
<ul><li>Engage with stakeholders and affected employees to understand requirements and define use cases for departmental system needs.</li>
<li>Work cross-functionally with business and technical teams to ensure strategic and executional alignment.</li>
<li>Provide system technical guidance and support to appropriate development teams.</li>
<li>Performance and Optimization:</li>
<li>Monitor and improve system performance, ensuring scalability, reliability, and best practice adherence.</li>
<li>Conduct usability and feasibility system and sandbox tests to verify maximally efficient user experience and system functionality.</li>
<li>Implement best practices for system design, functionality, and integration.</li>
</ul>Documentation and Reporting:
<ul><li>Prepare detailed documentation and reports pertaining to system architecture and integration processes.</li>
<li>Maintain records of design operations, decisions and justifications, and system mapping.</li>
<li>Consistently update senior management on the progress of system development and design, ROI-based system functional streamlining, and system integration, as necessary.</li>

</ul>Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience</li>
<li>Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in systems architecture integrations</li>
<li>Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience of deploying and/or overseeing Fluke emaint CMMS</li>
<li>Expertise in SQL and Visual Fox Pro</li>
<li>Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.</li>
</ul>Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience:
<ul><li>Expertise in C++, Python, and JavaScript
</li><li>At least two (2) years of experience as an emaint (CMMS) System Administrator
</li><li>Proven experience with emaint (CMMS)</li>
<li>Familiarity with low-code/no-code integration tools</li>
<li>Demonstrated understanding of maintenance and reliability engineering CMMS functionalities including preventive, predictive, reactive maintenance, MRO Inventory, labor management, work order management, reporting and analysis etc.</li>
<li>Superior understanding of software design principles, design patterns, algorithms, data structures, and multithreading concepts</li>
<li>Demonstrated understanding of product management and modern product delivery processes</li>
<li>General understanding of DevSecOps principles</li>
<li>General familiarity with modern software development principles including code management, test automation, APIs, microservices, and cloud services</li>
<li>Practical knowledge and experience with cloud, SAAS, on-prem applications, hardware, and processes and an understanding of how these systems integrate with other third-party systems</li>
<li>Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as encryption, hashing, certificates, PKIs, Threat Modeling, secure coding, and OWASP</li>
<li>Practical knowledge and experience with JIRA, Signavio</li>
</ul>Physical Demands and Expectations:
<ul><li>Work is normally performed in climate-controlled buildings where exposure to conditions of extreme temperature, poor ventilation, fumes and gases is very limited. Noise level is moderate. Potential hazards that may be encountered during normal work activities include electrical equipment, electrical hazards, pneumatic, steam, and mechanical hazards in manufacturing and supporting areas. Personnel is trained on safety requirements for each piece of equipment that poses a potential hazard. Personnel will be supplied with any safety devices such as energy isolation devices or PPE to fulfill job duties upon successful completion of training. Conditions may exist where electromagnetic fields may be encountered during normal performance of job duties. Those with medical implants must avoid work that enters production rooms where electromagnetic fields may exist.</li>
<li>Limited travel to regional offices and events.</li>
<li>Work involves standing and walking for brief periods of time, but most duties are performed from seated position. Work may include occasional pushing, pulling, or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds such as boxes of files. Work normally requires finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination to operate computer keyboard at moderate skill level.</li>
