Our clinic prioritizes work-life balance, so we offer a 4 day schedule (Monday-Thursday) for a competitive rate.PART TIME OR FULL TIMEWorking hours: 32 hours; Monday to Thursday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a 30-minute paid lunch breakBenefits:<ul><li>Private health insurance plan</li><li>22 days of paid vacation leave per year (64 hours PTO immediately with 32 hours accrued annually as well as 10 paid holidays) </li><li>CEUs and as educational materials and expenses, subject to management approval</li><li>Work life-balance with daily client caps and administrative time </li><li>Supportive leadership</li><li>Collaborative learning and work environment</li><li>Competitive salary and benefits plan</li><li>Professional development opportunities</li></ul>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.</li><li>Develop and implement effective, individualized treatment programs.</li><li>Provide counseling to patients and patients&rsquo; families about results of testing and recommended treatment options.</li><li>Be a strong advocate for all clients to best support their needs. </li><li>Establish patient understanding, expectations, and goals for treatment.</li><li>Create accurate documentation and reporting for all patient visits.</li><li>Refer patients to medical specialists in dentistry, psychology, or other related fields.</li><li>Complete authorization reports in a timely manner.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>A Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an educational institution approved by the Board of Speech-Language Pathology, passage of a Board-approved examination</li><li>Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - issued by the state of California</li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification</li><li>Fingerprint background clearance</li><li>Tuberculosis (TB) clearance</li><li>Certificate of clinical competence in speech pathology awarded by the American Speech and Hearing Association</li></ul>Or<ul><li>RPE license</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $47.00 - $52.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Continuing education credits</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Mileage reimbursement</li><li>Opportunities for advancement</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in San Diego, CA 92108
