<div><div><div>Perform intermediate professional work procuring a variety of services, supplies, materials and equipment in accordance with company, customer and legal requirements. The Buyer will proactively consider price, quality, availability, reliability, and technical support when choosing suppliers and merchandise to support the business and meet contract obligations.</div>

 </div><div><ul><li>Maintain current knowledge of and ensure all procurement actions are completed in accordance with the Acquisition Policy &amp; Procurement Manual</li>
 <li>Procure for parts, supplies and services including those with unique aspects or critical characteristics using the most effective method</li>
 <li>Conduct market research, identify potential vendors, and create solicitation packages</li>
<li>Evaluate offers, comparative price analyses for reasonableness and recommends awards</li>
 <li>Evaluate incoming requests for completeness including due dates, accounting codes, item descriptions, quantities, etc.</li>
 <li>Maintain logs, as required, and needed, to timely and accurately track procurements from receipt to closure</li>
 <li>Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers to include resolving issues expeditiously, providing updates and resolving concerns</li>
<li>Maintain records of performance and charts of assigned key performance indicators</li>
 <li>Follow CDSS plan and Code of Conduct system daily</li>
 <li>Adhere to required property control policies and procedures</li>
 <li>Maintain good housekeeping in all areas and comply with safety practices</li>
 <li>Model, mentor, monitor appropriate Career Success Standards</li>
