<div><div>Job Purpose: 
<ul><li>The Registered Nurse (RN) at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients within a behavioral health setting. The RN will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the physical and mental well-being of patients, focusing on providing compassionate and effective care during Shift 1.</li></ul> 
Key Responsibilities: 
<ul><li>Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans.</li><li>Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring adherence to established protocols and safety standards.</li><li>Monitor and document patient progress, communicating effectively with the healthcare team to adjust care plans as necessary.</li><li>Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medication management, and health maintenance.</li><li>Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity and quality of services provided.</li><li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.</li><li>Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.</li><li>Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, utilizing critical thinking and clinical skills to stabilize patients and prevent further complications.</li></ul></div><div>
Required Education: 
<ul><li>Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution or an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with relevant experience.</li></ul> 
Required Experience: 
<ul><li>Minimum of 0-3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in behavioral health or psychiatric care.</li><li>Experience working with diverse patient populations and multidisciplinary teams.</li></ul> 
Required Skills and Abilities: 
<ul><li>Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.</li><li>Strong understanding of mental health disorders and treatment protocols.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.</li><li>Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.</li><li>Proficiency in electronic health record systems and other healthcare technologies.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and prioritizing patient safety.</li><li>Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care, with a commitment to improving patient outcomes.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations and environments.</li></ul></div>
