Job Title: PROGRAM MANAGER- Day Program<br>

SUMMARY<br>
The Program Manager coordinates supports for people attending/change to day service. He/she manages a caseload and monitors program quality, client and family satisfaction, fiscal responsibility, and compliance with funding source and accreditation standards.</p><br>

BASIC FUNCTIONS AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:<br>
QUALITY - Ensure exceptional quality<br>
<ul><li>Design, implement, coordinate, supervise and evaluate programs for all assigned people supported by Life Unlimited My Day Program.</li><li>Assure the quality of habilitative support services at Day Program.</li><li>Develop ISP goals in a timely manner based on input from the person supported, My Day staff, family, other staff, and personal observations.</li><li>Facilitate the Individual Support Plan (ISP) meeting, with Support Coordinator, according to the desires of the person supported and guardian, when applicable.</li><li>Submit required forms/summaries and monitor program entries in Therap as needed, so they are correct and complete. Forms/summaries include, but not limited to, event reports and monthly summaries to analyze ISP outcome data.</li><li>Safeguard confidentiality, privacy, dignity, safety, health, and the civil rights of the people we support and our co-workers. Accomplish this through education, monitoring, and evaluation of services, staff, and programs.</li><li>Maintain familiarity with and follow Life Unlimited policies and procedures.</li><li>Maintain program records.</li><li>Maintain confidentiality regarding all personnel matters.</li></ul>
GROWTH &amp; INNOVATION &ndash; Lead program growth, expansion and improved efficiencies<br>
<ul><li>Show initiative and creativity in problem solving.</li><li>Collaborate on innovative approaches to increase satisfaction with programming for individual served and their guardians.</li><li>Identify opportunities for program growth based on data</li><li>Participate in community activities for the purpose of educating others on available services.</li><li>Serve as a community resource in the area of IDD.</li></ul>
FINANCIAL SUCCESS &ndash; Ensure financial success according to the budget and strategic plan<br>
<ul><li>Develop schedules for paid staff and volunteers to ensure appropriate levels of staff and volunteer coverage to both reach the store&rsquo;s financial goals and be able to provide excellent customer service.</li><li>Participate in staffing morning support in collaboration with other departments.</li><li>Ensuring billing is accurate and timely and supported by appropriate documentation.</li></ul>
TEAM BUILDER &ndash; Ensure all programs are adequately staffed and all team members are well trained and supported in their positions<br>
<ul><li>Participate in workshops and training conferences to enhance personal growth and development.</li><li>Provide support staff with sufficient information, training support for delegated tasks- RN (Oversight), external resources, training, plan information, and other requirements for the successful implementation of each program.</li><li>Participate in ongoing group and individualized support staff training, evaluation, and development.</li><li>Conduct regularly scheduled communication with staff /volunteers to provide direction, guidance and oversight to personnel. Host staff/volunteer meetings as needed to share information and engage in team building.</li><li>Provide inspirational leadership to staff and volunteers, setting operational performance standards and offering training.</li><li>Maintain current knowledge of agency policies and procedures as they relate to personnel; monitor staff for adherence to policies and procedures</li><li>Engage in progressive discipline procedures when needed; write performance improvement plans that put corrective action in place to ensure staff is in compliance when necessary.</li><li>Conduct investigations should allegations of misconduct arise,</li><li>Provide timely direction and feedback to appropriate authorities</li></ul></div><br>

COMMUNICATION &ndash; Foster strong communication within and between all programs and the overall organization<br>
<ul><li>Enhance public relations, as requested, for Life Unlimited, including representing the agency at community meetings, conferences, and meetings with other agencies, as needed.</li><li>Demonstrate ability to relate effectively with co-workers and guardians; give and receive feedback in a positive, supportive manner.</li><li>Communicate directly and clearly in verbal and written form.</li><li>Carry a phone to respond to program situations during the regular work schedule and after hours for emergencies.</li><li>Actively attend and participate in QA, Health Team and Administrative Team, as well as any other required meetings.</li><li>Maintain the ability to effectively and efficiently use computers or mobile devices to input, access, modify, or output information. This includes the ability to quickly access, store and retrieve data.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Working Conditions<br>
Office/home environment with noises from those we support, appliances, and telephones. May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens and/or infectious diseases.<br>

QUALIFICATIONS<br>
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in position related field or eight years related experience.</li><li>Must obtain and maintain training and certification in all required areas such as Abuse/Neglect, CPR, First Aid, Level I Medication Administration and Positive Behavior Supports.</li><li>Minimum of one year supervisory experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.</li><li>Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans.</li><li>Must be at least 18 years of age.</li><li>Must have reliable personal vehicle for transporting clients.</li><li>Must obtain a Class E driver&rsquo;s license during new hire orientation&ndash; must carry minimum coverage applicable by law for auto insurance</li><li>Must Receive Seasonal Flu Vaccination</li></ul>
