<p>The Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics (RIAO) at LifeBridge Health is actively recruiting a board-certified Sports Medicine Surgeon to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthopedics, with a specialization in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of sports-related injuries. This position offers the opportunity to work as the orthopedic surgeon for a local D1 university as well as area high schools and club teams, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.</p><br>

<ul><li>Comprehensive Sports Medicine Division with collegiate partnerships within a nationally recognized orthopedic institute.
</li><li>Academic involvement: Work directly with orthopedic surgery residents and engage in didactic and clinical teaching.</li>
<li>Research support: Access to dedicated research infrastructure with opportunities for grant writing, clinical studies, and publications.</li>

<li>Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across sports, trauma, total joint, spine, hand, and pediatrics.</li>
<li>Four days of required call per month, with opportunity for additional call.</li>

</li><li>The RIAO is home to an ACGME-accredited orthopedic surgery residency and multiple fellowship programs. Faculty are deeply involved in education and surgical training, with weekly didactics, journal clubs, case conferences, and intraoperative teaching.</li>
<li>Radiology onsite and physical therapy across the hall.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Qualifications:</b></p>
<ul><li>MD or DO with Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery</li>
<li>5 years of post-graduate experience</li>
<li>Completion of Sports Medicine Fellowship</li>
<li>Ability to successfully obtain Maryland Medical License without restrictions</li>
<li>Current DEA license</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment</li>
<li>Passion for education, program building, and clinical excellence</li>
