Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Answer inbound patient calls, responding to medical concerns and questions.</li><li>
Provide accurate information on medications, treatments, and healthcare services.</li><li>
Document patient interactions in electronic health records (EHRs).</li><li>
Triage urgent patient concerns, escalating to healthcare providers as needed.</li><li>
Schedule appointments and follow-up care.</li><li>
Educate patients on self-care and disease management.</li><li>
Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure continuity of care.</li></ul>
Requirements:<ul><li>
High school diploma required</li><li>
Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, NCMA, or CCMA) preferred not required</li><li>
2+ years of experience in healthcare, preferably in patient care.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology.</li><li>
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>
Ability to empathize with patients and families.</li><li>
Proficiency in EHRs (e.g., Epic, Cerner).</li><li>
Good organizational skills required</li><li>
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Publisher</li></ul>
Nice to Have:<ul><li>
Associate or bachelor's degree in healthcare-related field.</li><li>
Experience in call center or customer service.</li><li>
Certification in patient advocacy or case management.</li><li>
Bilingual or multilingual skills.</li></ul>
