 Main Purpose:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 The Event Management &amp; Business Operations Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing events while ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of daily business operations. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution to deliver high-quality events, streamline processes, manage budgets, and support cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Area of Responsibility:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Event Management:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Develop, plan, and execute events (corporate, public, or private) from concept to completion.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create event timelines, budgets, and project plans.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with vendors, venues, sponsors, and internal teams.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee event logistics, including catering, AV, staffing, and guest management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor event performance and prepare post-event reports with recommendations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure brand consistency and high-quality guest experiences
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Business Operations:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Oversee daily operational activities to ensure business efficiency.
 </li>
 <li>
 Streamline workflows and implement process improvements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage operational budgets, vendor contracts, and procurement processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Track KPIs and prepare operational performance reports for leadership.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with finance, HR, marketing, and other departments to align on priorities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Educational Qualification:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business Administration, Event Management, Hospitality, or related field (Master&rsquo;s degree preferred).
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong negotiation, organizational, and leadership skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficient in MS Office Suite and event/project management tools.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Work Experience:
 
 
 
 7+ years of experience in event management, business operations, or a related role.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Required Skills:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during events.
 </li>
 </ul>

Event Management & Business Operations Manager

 Area of Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Governance/Board Secretary Services: including but not limited to attending meetings with the General Legal Counsel, distribute meeting agendas and supporting documents, take meeting minutes, prepare resolutions, maintain and file records properly and ensure passed resolutions/recommendations are addressed, monitor deadlines (internal or statutory requirements), support the board for arranging logistics and travel arrangements, liaising with the Public Investment Fund on matters such as: (i) annual Board and Sub-Committee remuneration and allowances; (ii) quarterly reports; (iii) governance frameworks compliance; and (iv) address regular PIF portfolio company requirements.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Day-to-day legal services: including but not limited to legal research and analysis, document review and drafting, legal support to senior attorneys, contractual management by maintaining files, documents, monitoring deadlines, court dates and procedural requirements.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Educational Qualification:
 
 
 
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in law
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Work Experience:
 
 
 
 4-6 years of experience in the same field.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Skills:
 
 
 
 Excellent drafting skills, legal research ability, knowledge of governance and general standard business acumen, ideally board secretary experience, fluent English and Arabic speaker.
