Great opportunity to join a dynamic, innovative group in our Rialto Distribution Center!
 
In this role, you will be responsible for compliance of all local/state employment practices, implement HR initiatives and provide direct support to our employees. This position will require the ability to work independently while being part of a HR team that is based throughout the US. There are several distribution centers across the US with the Corporate Office located in New York. Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes</li>
<li>Conduct background/criminal, credit and reference checks for new employees</li>
<li>Conduct employee onboarding and help plan training and development</li>
<li>Act as a point of contact for managers and employees, responding to ad hoc requests and escalating where appropriate</li>
<li>Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace</li>
<li>Assist in development and implementation of human resources policies</li>
<li>Ensure proper entry/tracking of employee files in HRIS system (Dayforce)</li>
</ul>
Requirements: 
<ul>
<li>5+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner/Generalist role</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree in HR studies and/or PHR/SPHR preferred</li>
<li>Broad knowledge of CA employment law, Federal and State laws</li>
<li>Strong performance management and employee relations experience</li>
<li>Ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees at all levels in the organization</li>
<li>Effective communication skills -- written, verbal and listening</li>
<li>Ability to work well across different functions</li>
<li>Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and to navigate leaders through a variety of organizational changes</li>
<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Suite</li>
<li>Bilingual required ( Spanish/English)</li>
