 This is a remote position in the U.S. with occasional </b><b>travel</b><b> to Nashville for in-person team gatherings. </b>#LI-Remote</div><div></div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Lives out Lifeway&rsquo;s mission and values, showing deep commitment to Kingdom work</li><li>
Edit marketing content for grammar, punctuation, syntax, readability, and consistency.</li><li>
Apply style guidelines across mediums to maintain a consistent voice and presentation.</li><li>
Perform advanced fact-checking for product names, pricing, dates, and links.</li><li>
Anticipate potential inconsistencies and work with content creators or Marketing Strategists to resolve them.</li><li>
Provide Feedback and Training: Offer constructive feedback on editing practices and share suggestions that raise overall quality.</li><li>
Train others in applying Lifeway Style Guide, Brand Standards, and Ministry Area standards.</li><li>
Partner with creative and marketing teams to refine messaging for diverse audiences, ensuring clarity, tone, and campaign alignment.</li><li>
Contribute editing input that enhances the customer experience and campaign impact.</li><li>
Partner with ministry area leaders to develop and refine individual style guides as needed.</li><li>
Contribute to process improvements, share best practices, and provide feedback on editing platforms such as Adobe Workfront.</li><li>
Consistently meet deadlines and support others in meeting theirs for major marketing assets and campaign deliverables.</li><li>
Minimal travel, often overnight</li></ul>
Qualifications:

Associate&rsquo;s degree in Journalism, Communications, English or similar, <b><i>required</i></b></div><div>
Bachelor's degree in Journalism,Communications, English or similar, <b><i>preferred</i></b></div><div>
Masters degree, <i>not required</i></div><div>
Advanced graduate degree (PhD, etc.),<i> not required</i></div><div></div><div><b><br>
Skills, Knowledge, &amp; Experiences, required</b></div><ul><li>
Strong proficiency in editing and fact-checking, producing accurate, clear, and consistent content.</li><li>
Considerable knowledge of digital tools, including Adobe and Microsoft 365, to complete editing tasks and improve workflows.</li><li>
Proficient in collaboration and training, working with teams to refine messaging and strengthen editorial quality.</li></ul><div>
Actively involved in an evangelical Christian church</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Skills, Knowledge, &amp; Experiences, preferred</b></div><ul><li>
MLA and Chicago Manual of Style editing experience strongly preferred</li></ul></div><div></div>
