Job Title: Senior Truck Upfitting &amp; Hydraulic Systems Technician Location: Mount Gilead, OH Job Type: Full‑Time, Onsite Pay: $28 &ndash; $38 per hour DOEJob Summary: We are a busy vacuum tank fabrication and truck equipment shop looking for an experienced Senior Truck Upfitting &amp; Hydraulic Systems Technician to join our team. You&rsquo;ll work hands‑on modifying truck frames, installing hydraulics and PTOs, relocating axles, wiring electrical systems, and mounting vacuum tanks. This is a skill‑based role &mdash; we want someone who takes pride in quality work and can complete builds from start to finish.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Install hydraulic systems, hoses, pumps, valves, and controls</li><li>Install PTO units and auxiliary systems on truck drivetrains</li><li>Shorten and extend truck frames safely to spec</li><li>Mount vacuum tanks and secure to chassis</li><li>Wire 12V systems for lights, controls, and accessories</li><li>Read and interpret build orders, schematics, and drawings</li><li>Perform structural welding and basic fabrication</li><li>Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe work area</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>5+ years experience in truck upfitting, fabrication, or heavy equipment work</li><li>Strong hydraulic and PTO knowledge</li><li>Proven frame modification and welding skills</li><li>12V electrical wiring experience</li><li>Ability to read schematics and blueprints</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently</li><li>Reliable, punctual, and safety‑oriented</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Competitive pay based on experience</li><li>Opportunity for overtime</li><li>Steady work in a growing shop</li><li>(Add any benefits you offer: health insurance, PTO, etc.)</li></ul>How to Apply: Please submit your resume and a brief summary of your experience.
