Do you have a passion for driving but prefer to be home nights and weekends?Do you have experience or familiarity with lumber and/or building materials? If so, you may be our ideal candidate! We are looking to hire a self-driven individual with experience working with building materials and management skills to be self-motivated.The non-CDL Driver will be responsible for ensuring that all building supplies will be delivered to customers in a timely and courteous manner with our trucks rated under 26,000lbs. Lincoln Davies has been supplying lumber and building materials to professionals and homeowners for over 150 years.Our company is a small, family-owned business that is dedicated to local community tradespeople and novices alike. We take pride in our customer service and the quality materials that we offer our customers. We are looking for a self-motivated and standout team member with the appropriate skills and knowledge of materials and building systems as well as the ability to politely interact with home-owners and contractors. Some building knowledge and experience along with a team centered approach are required. Familiarity and comfort operating forklifts, and the ability to multi-task are also key.A work week is Monday-Friday (7am-3:30pm), with a seasonal weekend rotation of one Saturday per month may be required (7am-2pm).Overtime may be available but not required.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Some knowledge of building materials and/or construction</li><li>Forklift training (on the job) Mechanically inclined Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Customer focused</li><li>Team Oriented Ability to Multi-task Keep vehicles and warehouse clean.</li><li>Be on time for work. Be ready to work when you're scheduled to work.</li><li>Maintain a safe work environment.</li><li>Maintain a high level of customer service.
