Key Responsibilities</b></h3>
<ul><li>Conduct on-site evaluations at partner facilities, including active job sites.</li>
<li>Perform physical inspections of equipment, tools, and work processes (e.g., climbing on machinery, analyzing procedures).</li>
<li>Design and develop <b>performance-based training programs</b> for skilled trade professionals.</li>
<li>Apply <b>adult learning principles</b> to create engaging, accessible learning materials.</li>
<li>Collaborate with subject matter experts and partner teams to ensure content accuracy and relevance.</li>
<li>Utilize <b>e-learning platforms and digital tools</b> to enhance remote learning experiences.</li>
<li>Adapt training for diverse learners, including ESL participants.</li>
<li>Continuously evaluate and update programs based on feedback and industry trends.</li>
<li>Travel to partner sites for analysis, implementation, and relationship building.</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Requirements</b></h3>

Education &amp; Certification</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Degree or certification in Instructional Design, Learning &amp; Development, Education Technology, or related field.</li>
<li>Certification as a Certified Instructional Technologist (CIT) or equivalent (preferred).</li>
<li>OSHA safety awareness or certification (preferred).</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Skilled Trades Expertise</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Professional experience in instructional design and skilled trades.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience in skilled trades (preferred).</li>
<li>Skilled trades instructor experience is a plus.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of skilled trade practices.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Safety &amp; Physical Requirements</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Comfortable working in industrial environments and adhering to safety protocols.</li>
<li>Ability to climb, bend, and maneuver around equipment and job site obstacles.</li>
<li>Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently.</li>
</ul>

<li>Proficiency in developing customized, performance-based training programs.</li>
<li>Familiarity with adult learning theories and instructional design models.</li>

<li>Certification as a Certified Instructional Technologist (CIT) through the Merger Consortium or equivalent.</li>
<li>Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design models.</li>
<li>Experience with e-learning platforms and digital tools.</li>
<li>Exceptional communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.</li>
<li>Creativity in problem-solving and program development.</li>
<li>Incredibly detail oriented, highly analytical and solution focused. Excellent problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Ability to engage and build immediate rapport with colleagues.</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of autonomy.</li>
