<div>We are seeking a dynamic Coffee Shop Barista to join our team. A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit.<br>
</div><div><b>Responsibilities</b></div>
<ul><li>Greet every guest promptly with a smile and maintain eye contact</li>
<li>Must be courteous and gracious, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times</li>
<li>Establish and maintain good communications and team work with fellow colleagues and other departments within the hotel</li>
<li>Offer guests an enjoyable experience that conforms to the hotel&rsquo;s standards of excellence, professionalism and friendliness</li>
<li>Demonstrate advanced understanding and knowledge of the sequence of service, following this sequence for every guest.</li>
<li>Possess expert knowledge of the POS system to correctly and strategically communicate guest orders</li>
<li>Demonstrate exert proficiency in barista work and all coffee and tea-related subject matter</li>
<li>Responsible for receiving payment for all items ordered, correct cash handling and gratuity distribution</li>
<li>Take ownership of all service issues brought to your attention by guests</li>
<li>Maintain an increased awareness of safety issues throughout the hotel</li>
<li>Participate in scheduled departmental and administrative meetings as requested</li>
<li>Adhere to all standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos and verbal instructions</li>
<li>Be familiar with all safety and emergency procedures including OSHA requirements</li>
</ul><div><b>Core Competencies</b></div>
<ul><li>High School diploma or general education degree (GED)</li>
<li>Three (3) years related experience in hospitality or service industry preferred</li>
<li>Strong communication skills</li>
<li>Collaborative spirit</li>
<li>Ethical Conduct</li>
<li>Computer Proficiency: Microsoft Office, Opera PMS
