Use a variety of material handling equipment to move products, equipment, and materials on and off trucks or throughout the facility while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</b></h3><ul><li>
Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor height</li><li>
Pick palletized units out of rack locations above floor height and set up for outbound shipment</li><li>
May choose and record materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items via Radio Frequency (RF) system</li><li>
Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting device</li><li>
Read and follow computerized work orders to determine quantities, types of products to be shipped and the location of requested items in the warehouse</li><li>
Document and report damages and discrepancies to supervisors or leads</li><li>
May need to pack, seal, and label materials/pallets for shipping using Radio Frequency (RF) scanning equipment to document and verify counts of picked items; otherwise, ensure all palletized stock is securely wrapped before placement on racks or transporting through the warehouse</li><li>
Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet</li><li>
Monitor battery charge and leave material handling equipment at the designated storage area; may need to maintain and clean batteries, depending on site</li><li>
Alert appropriate leader of any issues with the product or materials and await directions to rectify the problem</li><li>
Help clean and organize the warehouse at the end or throughout the shift</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

Warehouse Generalist - 2nd shift

<div><div>We are seeking a skilled and motivated Forklift Technician to join our maintenance team. This role is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing forklifts to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have formal certification in MHE/forklift repair and/or proven on-the-job training (OJT) experience in the field, with strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently. This position also offers opportunities to cross-train in other maintenance disciplines to expand technical skill sets.<p><b>
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p><ul><li><p>
Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on forklifts and MHE in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards to ensure safe and continuous operation</p></li><li><p>
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems on MHE</p></li><li><p>
Complete basic preventative maintenance and minor repairs on facility mechanical assets, building systems, and exterior grounds as needed</p></li><li><p>
Conduct basic inspections of refrigeration systems under close supervision and direction from leadership</p></li><li><p>
Accurately document work performed, parts used, and equipment condition using maintenance systems</p></li><li><p>
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, reliability, and equipment uptime</p></li><li><p>

Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience maintaining and repairing forklift equipment and/or MHE, through formal certification programs or documented on-the-job training (OJT)</p></li><li><p>
MHE/Forklift Technician certification from an OEM or recognized training program preferred (Raymond, Toyota, Crown, Hyster, Yale, etc.)</p></li><li><p>

Demonstrated ability to complete routine preventative maintenance and equipment inspections independently</p></li><li><p>
