Title: AttorneyFLSA Status: ExemptDirect Report: Steve BirdLocation: The attorney will split time between multiple offices in the Golden Triangle, including Beaumont, TX and Orange, TXJob Overview:Represent firm clients in legal matters primarily in Orange County and work with Partner of the Jefferson County Office to support that work as may be necessary, direct collection activities and market the Firm&rsquo;s services.Requirements:<ul><li>License to practice law in Texas</li><li>Knowledge of title work, government finance a plus</li><li>Must have a valid driver license, reliable vehicle and insurance.</li></ul>Essential Functions:<ul><li>Provide legal advice and representation to firm clients</li><li>Direct collection campaigns</li><li>Supervise Area Managers&rsquo; performance and activities</li><li>Attend court dockets and oversee tax sales</li><li>Report firm performance to clients and elected officials as required.</li><li>Visit clients and elected officials and develop personal relationships</li><li>Attend conferences and entertain clients as necessary</li><li>Coordinate presentation of firm proposals for new contracts and renewals</li><li>Respond and prepare for potential loss of contacts to competitors</li><li>Market firm resources to potential clients in the field.</li><li>Performs other duties, as needed and within the scope of the role, to support team objectives and organizational goals</li></ul>Pay: Up to $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Parental leave</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Doctorate (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Driver's License (Required)</li><li>License to practice law in Texas (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Beaumont, TX 77701 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Beaumont, TX 77701: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)</li></ul>Willingness to travel:<ul><li>25% (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
