Purchase Manager Job DescriptionJob Description: Handles the procurement of the goods and services for company use or reselling purposes. Responsible for the evaluation of suppliers, negotiating contracts, and reviewing product quality. They buy products either to resell them, or they buy them for some organization. Purchasing Manager must direct, coordinate, and plan the buying of products to resell them or for some wholesalers or organizations.Purchase Manager Role and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Developing, leading and executing purchasing strategies</li><li>Take quotation from at least 3 vendors for each item.</li><li>Ensure any new vendor completes vendor registration process.</li><li>Ensure to buy materials only from registered vendors.</li><li>Review and process purchase orders.</li><li>Maintains records of goods ordered and received.</li><li>Negotiates prices and contracts with suppliers</li><li>Builds and maintains relationships with vendors</li><li>Evaluates vendors based on quality, timeliness, and price</li><li>Crafting negotiation strategies and closing deals with optimal terms</li><li>Schedules deliveries and ensures timely fulfilment of orders.</li><li>Track, measure and analyse company expenditures.
