You will manage and support the Bid / Tender and if required Project Delivery teams with producing and reporting Cost and Resource loaded programmes/schedules in Primavera P6 format, for the purpose of coordinating works with Sub-contractors and other third parties.</div><div></div><div>
The Planner is primarily responsible for creating both Tender and Delivery programmes to support the company in securing future revenue, and leading project teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time and within budget. The Planner will also own the planning processes from end to end, looking at the continual improvement of the delivery programme to aid course correction where needed.</div><div></div><div>
What will you do?</div><ul><li>
Produce and manage tender programme in Primavera P6 according to the scope of works, client expectation, project objectives and deliverables, working closely with the MEA tendering team and the various disciplines support each tender up to the tender award.</li><li>
Develop the tender programme in co-ordination with Project Team into a fully integrated Baseline Programme in line with agreed WBS and in accordance with the client's project requirements and support the project manager throughout all the project phases by generating standard monthly/weekly reports, variance reports and raising delay flags as and when required</li><li>
Optimize working programme to meet project objectives covering design, procurement, enabling, construction, commissioning, handover, and client key dates as appropriate.</li><li>
Review and validate construction methodologies, resource and cost loading, activity durations, schedule logic, float allocation and critical path identification, including those within supplier submissions.</li><li>
Administer the Risk and Opportunities process for and on behalf of the project team including adequate Monte Carlo analysis and &lsquo;What If&rsquo; scenario planning support.</li><li>
Interface with other Functions, such as engineers and construction team to build programmes.</li><li>
Liaise with external contractors and suppliers to develop their works within the programme.</li><li>
Liaise with the Tendering Manager and attend weekly team reviews to discuss progress of the tender in development and address any issues that arise.</li><li>

Control and capture any variations or changes to the programme or scope of the project.</li><li>

Effectively manage sub-contract and supplier programme interfaces</li></ul><div></div><div>
Experience and Education Required:</div><ul><li>
8+ years planning experience on multi disciple projects (Substation / Power Grid).</li><li>
Educated to College / Degree level (or equivalent)</li><li>
HV substation construction experience (Including Civil and Erection)</li><li>
Computer literacy &ndash; Minimum Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MSP.</li><li>
Demonstrable knowledge/experience of successful project delivery of complex projects with multiple interfaces</li><li>
Should Have Power Generation Industry (Specifically HV substations) &amp; Civils Construction experience</li><li>
HND or Degree ( or equivalent)</li><li>
Conversant with NEC Option A &amp; C contracts</li><li>
Can build a Programme in P6 from scratch</li></ul><div></div><div>

Play a supporting role in internal audit and reporting requirements for the business</li><li>
Monitor and support in financial administration and compliance requirements, to include tracking project forecast movements, review of contract summaries, availability of project risk register and meeting minutes</li><li>
Play a supportive role in month end duties: journal entries, coordination with regional units to reconcile inter-company transactions, preparation of project related and overhead journals.</li><li>
Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports including but not limited to aged debtors, aged creditors, accrual reporting, cash reporting, P&amp;L and balance sheet analysis</li><li>
Analysis of the overhead recovery for the business, preparation of the timesheet accruals and general overhead accruals.</li><li>
Ensure the upkeep of financial accounting procedures, internal controls and the authorisation process for all accounting activities, ensuring compliance with company procedures.</li><li>
Compile ad hoc analysis and other summaries to assist the management team in the efficient day to day running of the business.</li></ul><div></div><div>
Experience, Education and other Required:</div><ul><li>
Qualified finance professional with at least 5+ years of experience</li><li>
