Design Engineer</b></div><div></div><div><br>
Our<b> Design Engineers</b> work within a dynamic group to meet project goals and timelines. A successful candidate must be well organized, detail oriented, and have flexibility to handle multiple project assignments.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Responsibilities</b></div><ul><li>
Responsible for creating R&amp;D for all departments in the plant which includes but not limited to; Ranch Hand products.</li><li>
2/3D drawings and SolidWorks</li><li>
Specifications include sheet metal and pipe.</li><li>
Cost estimates and bill of materials</li><li>
Plans and executes the presentation of arrangements in graphic form or in detailed scale models</li><li>
Plans, organizes, and coordinates workload to achieve objectives</li><li>
Collects, reads, interprets and sees related reference documents and drawings prepares by other disciplines, vendors or outside sources</li><li>
Ensures compliance with approved design standards to provide quality design, safety, constructability, reliable operation, construction economy and operating convenience</li><li>
Reviews and checks calculations, design models, drawings, and design documents for quality, accuracy, neatness, functionality as observed in finished product audits</li><li>
Assists others with production issues</li><li>
Helps others collect or deliver design and engineering data at job sites or client offices</li></ul><div><b>
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work</b></div><div>
This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; weekend and overnight work could also become necessary.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Travel</b></div><div>
Minimal local travel.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Required Education and Experience</b></div><ul><li>
Associate&rsquo;s degree in engineering or specific discipline and two years&rsquo; experience; or Four years related experience and/or training specialized in drafting, design, and engineering practices; or</li><li>
Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. SolidWorks experience is required.</li></ul><div><b>
Preferred Education and Experience</b></div><ul><li>
Manufacturing/industry experience.</li><li>
Experience working with multiple discipline projects</li><li>
Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office</li><li>
Organizational skills, communication proficiency, initiative, thoroughness, and time management</li></ul><div><b>
