 Primary Role:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 The company is seeking to enhance their operational leadership for a factory employing around 100 people with the appointment of this role focusing primarily on the development of manufacturing processes, production efficiency, cost control and people development.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Accountabilities:
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Fully responsible for leading the factory including all production related departments and activities: production, health, safety &amp; environment, quality assurance, maintenance, and warehouse.
 </li>
 <li>
 Accountable for achieving budget, performance, sustainability &amp; cost targets of the plant / site.
 </li>
 <li>
 Leading the production and engineering teams to develop and improve processing issues in a factory which includes mixing, drying, grinding, granulation and compounding.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide on-site leadership to the non-direct functions that include warehouse, HR, finance and procurement to ensure all personnel are working to their full potential
 </li>
 <li>
 Troubleshoot using root cause analysis on &lsquo;one off&rsquo; and recurring production problems; implement long-term corrective actions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create better consistency in the various manufacturing processes through the development of KPI&rsquo;s, standard operating procedures and working practices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Positively challenge the status quo in the factory and proactively implement process improvements, which will underpin better efficiencies, material throughput, waste, and housekeeping.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensuring appropriate staffing levels and training of all employees on the site.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 The Person:
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Educated in a scientific (chemistry, polymers, materials) or similar technical degree.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experienced in leading and developing a chemical, polymers or raw materials factory.
 </li>
 <li>
 Hands-on approach to solving technical and processing issues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Background in the chemical, polymers, food, confectionery, paint or concrete is of interest
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in troubleshooting production and technical processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledgeable in process capability, root cause analysis and related analytical techniques
 </li>
 <li>
 Good communication and management skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborative, approachable, and mentoring people leadership skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Good problem-solving abilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Team-focused.
 </li>
 <li>
 Multitasking and time-management skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong attention to deal.
 </li>
 <li>
 Accountable, leads by example and convincing style.
 </li>
 <li>
 Fluent in Turkish and English.
 </li>
