Our mission is to empower visionaries and emerging talent in architecture and lighting design to create unique spaces by re-imagining the role that systems play in creating habitats and experiences.Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires exceptional analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to stakeholders.Duties<ul><li>Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting.</li><li>Oversee cash management processes and maintain effective budgeting practices.</li><li>Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to ensure financial integrity.</li><li>Prepare regulatory reports and manage technical accounting functions as required.</li><li>Perform month-end closing process, recording journal entries and preparing accurate monthly and annual financial statements ensuring compliance with (GAAP)</li><li>Prepare supporting documents and requests for the completion of tax returns as required by external CPA audit firm.</li><li>Monitor cash and manage payables to enhance cash flow and vendor relationships</li><li>Ensure the company is compliant with all federal, state and local regulations</li><li>Analyze, consolidate and direct all cost accounting procedures together with other statistical and routine reports</li><li>Build and maintain relationships with banks and lenders</li><li>Monitor inventory levels and inventory cycle counting program including measurement of obsolete inventory</li><li>Review commission reports and validate payment to reps</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, is required CPA or equivalent certification preferred.</li><li>5+ years' experience in manufacturing</li><li>Strong knowledge of cash management, budgeting, and financial concepts.</li><li>Excellent analytical skills with a focus on account reconciliation and financial analysis.</li><li>Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and able to manage tasks to meet deadlines and expectations with minimal supervision.</li><li>Proficient in financial software, such as ERP systems, (Made to Manage and Odoo helpful), Microsoft excel and a solid understanding of database concepts.</li></ul>Attributes:<ul><li>Effective and articulate in verbal, written and electronic communications</li><li>Is open minded, and seeks continuous improvement and knowledge through internal and external sources.</li><li>Ability to professionally work through stressful and difficult challenges to resolution.</li><li>Ability to understand the nature and level of confidentiality required for different types of information and discern the appropriate level of exposure as per Litelab's policy, practices and protocol</li><li>Has a strong sense of integrity, confidentially, respect and quality when fulfilling job duties.</li></ul>Final pay determinations will depend on various factors including but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills and abilities.Job Type: Full-timePay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Disability insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
