Join our team of dedicated, kind, and loving teachers at Little Achievers.Little Achievers is hiring TEACHERS, ASSISTANT TEACHERS and FLOATERS.Shifts: 8:30am-5:30pm, 10:30am-2:30pm, and 10:30am-5:30pm.This is a year-round position.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Be kind, loving, and gentle</li><li>Provide competent supervise to children to ensure their safety and well-being</li><li>Assist with daily routines such as meals, toileting, dressing, and rest time</li><li>Create a warm, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment</li><li>Support social, emotional, and behavioral development through positive guidance</li><li>Encourage independence and self-help skills</li><li>Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement strategies</li><li>Collaborate with coworkers to maintain a consistent and supportive environment</li><li>Prepare and organize classroom materials and learning centers</li><li>Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations</li><li>Follow company policies and procedures</li><li>Be without their cell phone while in the classroom as this is a NYS OCFS regulation.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Candidates must have a minimum of one year&rsquo;s experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar caregiving role</li><li>Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education</li><li>Classroom experience managing groups of young children effectively</li><li>Familiarity with behavior management techniques to support positive conduct</li></ul>Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Retirement plan</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Childcare: 1 year (Required)</li><li>day care center: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Shift availability:<ul><li>Day Shift (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Ballston Spa, NY 12020 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
