This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the critical early years of a child's life, fostering curiosity, independence, and joy in learning.Duties<ul><li>Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that incorporate early intervention strategies, Montessori principles, and standards for preschool education.</li><li>Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective behavior management and classroom management techniques, ensuring each child's safety and well-being.</li><li>Support toddler care routines, including feeding, diapering, and nap times, while promoting independence and self-care skills.</li><li>Use assessment tools such as standardized testing and formative evaluations to monitor progress in literacy education, math skills, and physical education.</li><li>Collaborate with parents and caregivers to communicate children's progress, developmental milestones, and strategies for supporting learning at home.</li><li>Incorporate inclusive practices for children with special education needs or those requiring additional support in early intervention programs.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental assessments, lesson plans, and child welfare documentation in compliance with licensing standards.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior classroom experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential; experience with toddler care is highly valued.</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development theories, behavior management techniques, and early childhood education best practices.</li><li>Experience developing curriculum that integrates literacy education, math concepts, physical education activities, and Montessori methods.</li><li>Familiarity with special education strategies and working with children requiring additional support or early intervention services.</li><li>Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.</li><li>Proven ability to manage a classroom environment through effective classroom management techniques and lesson planning.</li><li>Experience working in private schools or daycare centers is advantageous; certification in early childhood education or related fields is preferred.
