High school diploma, Criminal Background Check, Child Abuse/Neglect Check, and TB Skin Test is required.Duties<ul><li>Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development and learning through play, exploration, and structured activities</li><li>Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and emotional security at all times</li><li>Manage classroom activities effectively, maintaining positive behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques</li><li>Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing inclusive caregiving tailored to individual requirements</li><li>Administer basic first aid when necessary and communicate with parents or guardians about their child's progress or concerns</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues to plan educational activities and share best practices in early childhood education and caregiving</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom settings is highly preferred</li><li>Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education methods</li><li>Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus</li><li>Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster positive behavior and social skills among children</li><li>Experience caring for infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children demonstrating patience and nurturing qualities</li><li>Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and developmental needs</li><li>Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members</li></ul>Join us in creating joyful learning experiences that empower young children to thrive!Job Type: Part-timePay: $9.50 - $12.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
