Job SummaryThe Senior Accountant is responsible for managing accounting and bookkeeping services for multiple clients. This role includes reviewing financial records, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards such as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and supporting client financial needs.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage bookkeeping and accounting for multiple small business clients.</li><li>Review and maintain general ledger accounts.</li><li>Prepare monthly and yearly financial statements.</li><li>Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.</li><li>Prepare and post journal entries.</li><li>Assist with payroll processing and payroll reporting.</li><li>Support tax preparation by organizing financial records for accountants.</li><li>Work with accounting software such as QuickBooks.</li><li>Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.</li><li>Train and support junior bookkeepers or accounting assistants.</li><li>Communicate with clients regarding financial records and accounting questions.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).</li><li>3&ndash;5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).</li><li>Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks.</li><li>Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.</li></ul>Key Skills<ul><li>Financial reporting</li><li>Account reconciliation</li><li>Client communication</li><li>Time management</li><li>Problem-solving</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $35.00 - $37.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>On-site gym</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in South China, ME 04358
