Job Summary and Qualifications</h5><h5 class="jobSectionHeader">
JOB FUNCTIONS: Our Facilities Management leader is responsible for staffing within the maintenance of the hospital. This role will oversee all hospital equipment operations and respond to emergent needs and repairs as needed. The role will oversee all preventative work and ensuring all systems are compliant, operationally safe, and documentation needs. The right candidate for this role MUST HAVE hospital experience to be successful in this role and MUST have leadership experience with direct oversight of a team.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Leads all activities associated with the building maintenance and operational efficiency.</li><li>
 Manages work order processing and efficiency.</li><li>
Manages department safety training and compliance.</li><li>
Teach and develop maintenance skills for staff.</li><li>
Performs staff performance reviews and disciplinary actions when required.</li><li>
Monitors TJC compliance issues and understands building code.</li></ul></h5><h6 class="jobSectionHeader">
What qualifications you will need:</h6><h5 class="jobSectionHeader">
Education:<ul><li>
High school degree or equivalent is required,</li><li>
AS degree, Technical degree is preferred, or graduation from vocational college.</li><li>
8 years related experience with at least five years in a healthcare setting.</li></ul>
Licensure/certification/registration:<ul><li>
Journeyman&rsquo;s license in an engineering trade (plumbing, electrical, mechanical, etc.) is preferred.</li><li>
An International Maintenance Institute (IMI) CMT-3 Certification or a Technical Associate&rsquo;s Degree may be substituted.</li><li>
Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) is preferred</li></ul>
Experience:<ul><li>
5 years trade experience in hospital/medical field</li></ul></h5>
Live Oak Mental Health and Wellness Center, is a part of Trident Health. We give inpatient stabilization treatment to patients who seek treatment for acute psychiatric symptoms which cannot be addressed on an outpatient basis. Common disorders of patients treated in this program include but are not limited to: major depressive disorder, schizoaffective disorder, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, adjustment disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, impulse control disorder and a variety of co-morbid personality disorders. Our patient population is both adult and adolescent. We offer 24 hour availability of a full range of services. We have the capability to institute rapid lifesaving interventions. Our physician availability is 24 hours a day to institute needed modification to the treatment plan. Psychiatrist involved in the direction and management of the treatment program. Round the clock skilled nursing care implementing the treatment plan and providing monitoring and assessment of the patient's condition and response to treatment.
